內容簡介

　　郭靖黃蓉共患難情深義更深！
　　金庸經典巨著；揭開大漠激鬥連場！！

　　郭靖（黃日華）及黃蓉（翁美玲）結伴同遊江南，途遇北丐洪 七公（劉丹），蓉以佳餚換得七公授靖降龍十八掌。華箏（黃造時 ）及拖雷兄妹於中原重遇靖。箏向靖重提親事，靖不欲背信於箏， 卻又與蓉情投意合，靖舉棋不定，蓉怒返桃花島，靖始發覺自己深 愛蓉，遂趕至桃花島，卻遭蓉父東邪黃藥師（曾江）阻撓。後與被 困島上的老頑童周伯通（秦煌）結為兄弟，更得其親授左右相擊術 及九陰真經。

　　靖與蓉冰釋前嫌，七公代靖向黃藥師提親，時西毒歐陽峰（楊 澤霖）偕姪到來提親，雙方遂起衝突。黃藥師決以比武定奪，靖險 勝，但卻因周伯通胡言亂語，引起黃藥師誤會，靖即被逐離桃花島 。期後，一雙愛侶幾經波折始能重聚，再度共闖江湖。

　　楊康與完顏烈密謀進侵大宋，此事為靖、蓉所悉，靖為保江山 而被西毒打至重傷。後得黃蓉相助，逃至密室以真經療傷，武功反 而大進。期間，兩人屢遇強敵皆能捨身相救，感情更見牢固。黃藥 師對靖亦有所改觀，並允許他與蓉的親事。另一方面，眾人為除禍 根歐陽峰，遂向他定下戰約…… 11VCDs（全劇完篇） 國粵語對白╱中文字幕 Mandarin & Cantonese/Chinese Subtitles

Between the one in the 90's and this one, it is so hard to say which one is better. The costume design is of better quality in this one. The overall cast is stronger, well except wong rong and gor jing in the 80s and 90's are both equally great. But one thing is the 90's version storyline is much much stronger. The 90s version followed the book and did not go off in tangent. The legend of condor hero part I in the 80's was too long. Too many eps. talking about the father and mother of yang kang. The 90's version overall story went much smoother. But both are classics in its own ways...

Barbara Yung and Felix Wong is a great matching couple on screen, they are both cute and have big smiling eyes especially in this successful series. This is the best in history and no one can perform Wong Yung better than Barbara who created history and never be forgotten. However, every single character is chosen greatly and they all perform superiorly. All people in this series are well respected.

I bought a set of this videos 20 years ago . In June this year, I also bought a second set in Canada, dvd format, and the copy right was in China Mainland; the picture quality is not so good but the sound quality is very good.
The following month (Mid-July), Yesasia informed me of the new release of this dvd set produced by TVBI. I hurriedly ordered and received it on its first lauching. This set containing 3 parts, I only tried the 1st and the 2nd parts, and I was very disappointed ! Because the dialog (Cantonese)is verylow especially the female voice, and the music hard to hear somtimes discontinued. If I turned up the volumn, then the sound sometimes suddenly became too big and startled me. I don't like it at all, and Yesasia told me to send a comment to TVBI and I did. For this dvd set, its picture quality is good but the sound quality is worse than the one I bought in June with the copyright in China Mainland. Because I can read Chinese and don't know the problems of the English subtitle as mentioned by other people. If you haven't watch this tv dramma in VIDEO or VCD formats before, then you will like this DVD set because this is the best version of 'kwok Ching and Wong Yong-The Legend of Condor Heroes' that were ever made in the film industry.

 Defective Cantonese Soundtrack 顧客評分為 1 - 1 (十分為滿分)
The Cantonese audio track for this DVD box set is defective. It is hard to understand the dialogs as the audio goes in and out. Surprisingly, there is no problem with the Mandarin audio track.

Someone drops the ball in mastering the audio for this box set; whoever approved the final copy before going into the manufacturing process should be fired for doing a sloppy job.

As a standard practice for Universal Home Video or any other major companies, TVB should recall this box set, fix the Cantonese audio track and issue a replacement or exchange for the purchasers, immediately.

Short of doing this is unacceptable.
