When city-dwelling telecom executive Bai Dan (Johnny Chen, The Queen!) is told by his stepfather that his estranged mother has passed away, he returns to the isolated island where he grew up for the funeral, thinking that it would be a short stay. Unfortunately, on the day he decides to leave, a typhoon shuts down all transportation links from the island, stranding him for three days. During this time, he re-encounters his childhood sweetheart Wei Xin (Tracy Chou, L-O-V-E) and feelings are reignited, but she's due to be married in 100 days...
