The young boy's name in this movie Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
We watched this movie,it's AWESOME!!! I still remember his name here, YOUNG MAN KWONG.

Anybody knows his real name ? I'm dying to know his name. I saw his other movie, his eyes are so beautiful, like a girl's.

If you happen to know, let me know please. His pic is on the left, with red outfit.

I wish I could buy the DVD,but seems they don't produce it anymore :(

Entertaining version of these famed women. Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I like this version of the Yang's saga very much, it has good flowing plot tinged with action, a nice range of emotions from the comical to the sad, touching, suspenseful...but it is the contrast between the light hearted and the poignant moments that lifts this series above others in this genre…. woman dresses as man playing man (which makes the whole Yangs family including the "son" to be all female) woman dresses as man playing woman, man dress as woman , not to mention a eunch.

The actress who plays Pai Fung is outstanding, contrasting well with Fung Bo Bo and the forever wooden Sharon Yang. I always like Fung Bo Bo playing boy roles, but must agree with one of the other reviewers that her constant pouting is a bit too much…I thought Lisa Wang could have made more impact in her important role and Shek Sau is as usual a little too wimpy.

great actresses Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
this was a really good series. i've always loved lisa wang. her characters are always so smart and spunky, always great role models. she never lets us down. the only down side to this was having fung bo bo act as her son. she would have been great for just the young version. but having a son pout and act all sweet when he's married is just plain weird.

Worth watching! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
You have to like the characters to love this series, because the plot itself is rather weak. It is one of TVB's series where they had a super cast, and tried to make it BIG, but unfortunately they did not have time to write a better storyline.

This is one of Sharon Yang Pan Pan's early major roles in TVB, and her acting was not as refined as her roles in "Condor Heroes", "Demi-Gods", etc, but she still did a fine job, and it is nice to see how an actress improves in her career.

Petrina Fung Bo Bo's portrayal of a teenage boy is superb and flawless. The character is so loveable that no wonder everyone in the series adores him! I remember when this series was first aired in 1981, there were talks that TVB was originally choosing between Fung and Felix Wong Yat Wah to do this character.

The "fighting" scenes are mostly done by the actors and actresses themselves.
