A beautiful song~ Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Had you have told me eight years ago (2005) that this would end up being in my top 10 favourite Koda Kumi ballads, I probably would have laughed. While I did like the song, it never really stood out to me. That all changed as I got older and it started playing on one of my iPod playlists in 2010.

The song is very pop meets R&B and was also used as the theme for a book. You'll notice that this song, despite being a single, never had a music video. Honestly, it doesn't need one. Koda Kumi sounds beautiful in the song and the music is gorgeous. Let's just say that there was a reason this single made it to #4 without a video.

The acoustic version is a jazz-take on the song and only has a piano backing up her voice. That's until about halfway through when she's accompanied by a violin and a tambourine. It's a simpler take on the song, but gives it a bit more power, I think.

Honestly, though, I can't really see anyone other than long-time fans enjoying this one. Either that or people who have gotten out of their teens and will start to grow that fascination with music "behind the scenes." (laughs)

Great song, but perhaps Koda could do better? Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I agree with Phunin. I love, love this song but I feel that Koda`s singing isn`t really in touch with the song and towards the end it sounds like she`s struggling. Still it`s a favourite. Only "WIND" is better!

Definite step-up from 'Butterfly!' Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
Ku's 17th single, and the first in a long time not written by the diva herself! I thought this song would be forgettable, but I was pleasantly surprised - it's really pretty and lush, and Ku's vocals are superb. 'Flower' isn't as nice as, say, 'Kiseki,' but it's a winner nonetheless - it's certainly a step-up from the uber-cheesy 'Butterfly!' The acoustic version, which features Ku singing to a piano and violin accompaniment, is lovely as well.

Open your love, flower Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Throw in a famous composer and a fast rising star and then outcomes, inevitabley, something great. The song itself is great and Ku's vocals do suit it although she does let the song down a little bit. Her vocals are nothing new and with a song like this you would expect more from the vocalist to match the great arrangment and melody.

Great song! Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I listened to this song on her offical site. I must say I am very impressed with it. It's a GREAT song and the acoustic version is AWESOME!!! Plus the price tag is fairly low, so there's no reason not to get this.
