great martial arts but boring film. Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
with fatal contact and fatal move under his helm the director should have improved on his directional skills but unfortunately he has made one of the most boring film to date. the director does not employ any fancy camera work to enhance an already boring script but instead films things in the most pedestrian way as possible; cameras pan from side to side, scenes lingering on for to long etc.

what hurts the film the most is the lack of editing involved in some scenes, the audience has to witness some mundane tasks, such as making coffee or changing clothes, that add nothing to the proceeding. the camera seems to linger on for no apparent reason except for just lazy film mamking.

the good thing about this lack of editing is that the fight scenes are shown in all its glory, this is where the director excels. wide lengthy shots are used allowing the audience to follow the excellent choreography which are scattered through out the film. Andy On does an admirable job in the fight department but doubled for acrbatic moves and certain kicks. it is new comer Jiang Lu Xia that really shines though, with her martial arts skills. Bernice Liu is the main antagonist but she fails to convince as master of martial arts which she portrayed as.

another plus for fight fans is the return of Xiong xin xin in a minor fighting role and the chance to see ken lo dish out some kisks again.

As for the acting Bernice Liu is just horrifically bad as the villain her acting is just comical villain. Andy On does a decent job and as for the veterans they are in fine form but are never really explored that much.

everything is bad about this film but is saved by some really good old fighting if you can stomach poor film making then watch this.

Real Bad Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
Simon Yam has been around for a long time. As far as I can remember, he has always been in movies which involves the triads, pimps, sibling rivalry, etc. This movie is no exception except for the fact that he didn't get to be too vicious before getting topped off .

How do I rate this show? One way street!! It's so predictable once members started to get killed like flies. Look out for newcomer Jiang Luxia (playing the mute) - a cool find for future martial arts movies (reminds me of veterans Kara Hui, Cheng Pei Pei and Lily Lee). Star ratings strictly for Jiang Luxia.

Good film Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Bad Blood is not a crap film. Some might like or some might hate it,depending on your point of view,.To me I think it is a improvment from the disastrous FATEL MOVE.The film has talented martial artist and it boasts numerous well-choreographed fight scenes. There were other moments that I liked in this and that is the performance from Simon Yam and up-and-coming martial artist Jiang Lu Xia.

My only problem with this one was the fact that Dennis Law's script was either overly ambitious or ridiculas and it does fall short of reaching dramatic heights it aspires to.

A good/average film.
