YesAsia Editorial Description

The Night of the Living Dead meets Young and Dangerous meets the weird world of director Wilson Yip in Bio-Zombie, an unexpected comedy-horror-thriller! Jordan Chan is Woody Invincible, a dopey triad boy who sells bootleg VCDs with partner Crazy Bee (Sam Lee). While the two are out messing up their routine triad assignments, they accidentally pick up a bio-chemically induced zombie - who was given his grotesque curse courtesy of a spiked soft drink! Not knowing what to do, the two guys drag the corpse back to the New Trend Shopping Mall, where they proceed to forget about it. By the time they realize what's happening, the mall is closed, and they're trapped inside with the multiplying zombies, and a cast of motley characters, including Angela Tong. Director Wilson Yip works wonders with this unusual genre mixture, and delivers off-the-wall parodies, oddball comedic performances, surprising touches of darkness, and unexpected events and emotions. Bio-Zombie is an entertaining, darkly funny, yet surprisingly affecting film that could only come out of Hong Kong!

cool, cartoony splatterthon Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
Fun, dumb stuff that garners most of it's chewy teenage kicks from the interplay between it's two swaggering leads. The zombie make-up is hella cheesy, but the dialogue (stick with the subtitles, the dubbing is a drubbing, daddy-o) is a riot, anf Rolls (Angela Tong)is utterly adorable. If it's a Saturday night, then this is totally reccomended.

you can never go wrong with zombies in a mall Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
The plot is simple enough to follow a new kind of soda turns people into zombies, you follow Crazy Bee and Woody around in a mall. The movie is really honest and touching at points, hands down i thinking this movie is a blessing of the gods, and by damn if it isn't one of the greatest zombie films of all time, the DVD also has a bonus feature of a second ending. I think this is the movie that started me collecting all of Sam's movies they all seem to have the same similar patterns of zombie and monsters but this one is by far the greatest.
