由香港著名電影配樂人陳光榮創作，
亞洲愛樂管弦樂團和Nicolaus Esterhazy管弦樂團演奏，
亞洲愛樂合唱團和匈牙利合唱團參與合唱。
《無間道》是光影和音樂完美無瑕結合的成功例子。
配合緊湊劇情，每個音符緊扣劇情推進，帶動觀眾情緒，營造緊張氣氛和加強戲劇效果。
在第一幕毒品交易中，正邪角力完美示範。
除了劇情和影像，音樂在某些塲景也擔任重要角色。
蔡琴一曲 “被遺忘的時光” 連結兩個命運軌跡不同的主角。
