Everyone is crazy about circles in writer-director Ogigami Naoko's quirky film Maru starring Domoto Tsuyoshi in his first leading film in nearly two decades. Ayano Go, Yoshioka Riho, Morisaki Win and Tozuka Junki also appear in the film. Besides starring in Maru, Domoto Tsuyoshi created the music for the film.

Sawada (Domoto Tsuyoshi) graduated from art school but he hasn't been able to make it as an artist. He currently works as an assistant to a popular contemporary artist. Sawada just takes orders, but he barely has the energy to do that. One day, he gets into an accident on his way to work and loses his job due to his arm injury. A circle Sawada drew is spread on social media without his knowledge, and he becomes known as the mysterious artist "Sawada." The suddenly famous Sawada gradually becomes obsessed with circles…
