In the past three years, the 12 Girls Band has been demonstrating their magic in reviving traditional Chinese music by introducing popular elements into it. This time they perform unsophisticated yet dynamic songs written by the famous Chinese musician Wang Luobin (1913-1996). Known as the "Father of Folk Songs in Western China", Wang has composed and arranged more than a thousand songs in his life. Now the acclaimed 12 Girls Band performs his songs with traditional Chinese musical instruments, revitalizing Chinese folk music. The album features a total of 14 tracks, plus a DVD with the Band's live performance.

i purchased this in china at the 5th anniversary show in beijing in june, this is the girls finest work yet
regretfully the ones purchased in beijing are in PAL format.did manage to view it.the dancers weaving in and out or the artists is a nice touch. heres the song list in english CD
