YesAsia Editorial Description

Kikuchi Rinko makes the long journey home in 658km, Yoko no Tabi directed by Kumakiri Kazuyoshi (Manhole). Winner of the Golden Goblet at the Shanghai International Film Festival, the road film follows a troubled woman's cross-country trip from Tokyo to Aomori to attend her estranged father's funeral.

Yoko (Kikuchi Rinko) is a stay-at-home freeter who has given up on life. She receives news that her father, whom she hasn't seen in over 20 years, suddenly passed away. Yoko heads back to her hometown of Hirosaki by car with her cousin Shigeru (Takehara Pistol) and his family. However, on the way there, she gets left behind at a rest stop without her phone or money. With the funeral scheduled for noon the next day, Yoko decides to hitchhike to Hirosaki. On this overnight journey, she encounters various people including a vision of her father in his youth.

This edition comes with a booklet and bonus features including making-of, stage greetings and trailers.
