A Family Affair (1984) (Blu-ray) (Hong Kong Version) Blu-ray Region A

Produced by Raymond Wong and Karl Maka, the 1984 family comedy Family Affair deals with the serious issue of broken families in a farcical way. Hong Kong pop legend Sam Hui and former Miss Hong Kong Olivia Cheng star as a couple whose divorce forces their two children to live apart. A year later, both parents have found their new loves, to the disdain of the two children and their grandfather (director Dean Shek). Determined to bring the family together again, the three come up with various ways to break up their parents' respective romances. A box office hit in the summer of 1984, the film also includes a hit theme song performed by Sam Hui and Jenny Tseng, who makes a special appearance in the film.
