While the Shaw Brothers had Cheng Pei Pei, Union Film had Shang Kuan Ling Feng. Famous for her martial arts films, Shang Kuan Ling Feng trained hard in taekwondo and karate in order to be convincing in her female fighter roles. Such professionalism would later earn her the Best Actress award at the Golden Horse Awards. A year before that, she starred in this 1972 Union Film production as the titular heroine, Sima Murong. A female vigilante, Sima Murong takes it upon herself to rid the town of its local bully, Kim, who not only raped a woman but also killed her entire family. After some struggles, Murong captures Kim, and proceeds to take him to the judicial court. However, Kim's father has plotted to stage a raid en route to save his son...

惡霸金翅鵰(曹健)之子金騰蛟(羅斌)某夜潛至劉老三家，卻污其媳，劉家父子起而反抗金騰蛟兇殘成性，將劉老三一家大小全部殺害揚長而去。

豹子灣有一少女司馬慕蓉(上官靈鳳)，身懷絕技，被譽為女拳師，一日來至新安縣，見告示後即往懸衙應徵，知縣見其為女性，恐非金家之對手，經測驗武功，發現其身手不凡，惟復念捕頭之職，未便用女性而躊躇難決，司馬姑娘查悉知縣苦衷，振示不計較官職，效勞縣衙協助逮捕金騰蛟歸案以正國法。許知縣乃首肯，並命捕快等從旁協助。

司馬慕蓉偵察得知金騰蛟正在煙花柳巷尋樂，率兩名捕快前往緝捕，遭金戲謔一番，司馬羞憤之餘，遂與交手，騰蛟終非司馬敵手，束手就擒，贡捕快將其押至縣衙。此時，知府亦來催促，命令將人犯解往就審。

新安縣往府衙的途中，為豹子灣必經之道，金翅鵰知其子被捕，震怒不已原想賄賂知縣放兒子，焉知敨縣為官清廉，不畏其權勢，不受利誘。金翅鵰與總管商量，以調虎離山之計，竊取知縣官印，意圖據此交換其子。但知縣寧可失印丟官，不顧一切，囑司馬將金騰蛟押解至府衙。

金翅鵰因前計未逞，就在豹子灣設下陷阱，欲以武力奪其子。司馬蓉與捕快、金家展開一番惡鬥，不料，金騰蛟被一俠客耿丹心(田鵬)劫走。司馬無心應2 ，大展身手追趕……
