The 2011 MBC romantic drama A Thousand Kisses focuses on two couples with age gaps, and how the age difference affects their relationships. After Old Miss Diary and My Sweet Seoul, Ji Hyun Woo plays the younger man again, this time opposite award-winning actress Seo Young Hee (Queen Seon Duk). Ryu Jin (Babyfaced Beauty) and Kim So Eun (Boys Before Flowers) form the second couple in this 50-episode romantic series. A Thousand Kisses also co-stars Cha Soo Yeon (Stormy Lovers), Shim Hyung Tak (Brain and veteran Lee Soon Jae.

A Thousand Kisses revolves around the lives and loves of sisters Joo Young (Seo Young Hee) and Joo Mi (Kim So Eun). After a failed marriage, Joo Young starts anew in both her career and in love, striking up a relationship with the younger Woo Bin (Ji Hyun Woo). Younger sister Joo Mi meanwhile finds romance with the older Woo Jin (Ryu Jin).

[シリーズストーリー]
ジュヨン（ソ・ヨンヒ）は、浮気性の夫のテギョン（シム・ヒョンタク）と姑、サッカーが大好きな１人息子のチャンノ（ク・スンヒョン）と暮らす専業主婦。テギョンはチャンノとサッカーを観に行く約束をすっぽかし、浮気相手に会いに行ってしまう。ジュヨンは料理教室にいたが、連絡の取れない夫の代わりにチャンノを迎えに行くことに。急いでいたジュヨンはエレベーター前でウビン（チ・ヒョヌ）とぶつかり、ウビンの持っていた壷を割ってしまう。ジュヨンはチャンノを連れてサッカー観戦に行くが、そこで妹のジュミ（キム・ソウン）から、テギョンと浮気相手のジュニ（イ・ジャヨン）がキスをしていたという電話を受ける。話の内容に呆然とし、チャンノを見失ってしまうが、ウビンと一緒にいるチャンノを発見し…。
