Ueno Juri tackles her darkest role yet in Alice no Toge, a revenge drama supervised by Nishida Masafumi (Kaibutsu-kun, Yokai Ningen Bem). Set in a university hospital, Alice no Toge follows the journey of Asumi (Ueno Juri), a young woman who has spent a decade plotting revenge against those responsible for her father's death. Now a doctor in her father's old hospital (under a new name), Asumi sets her intricate plot in motion and takes down her enemies one by one. With nothing else on her mind, Asumi will do whatever it takes to get her way.
In addition to Ueno, Alice no Toge also co-stars Odagiri Joe (The Great Passage) as a journalist who shares a common past with Asumi, Nakamura Aoi (Yae no Sakura) as a younger doctor and Kuriyama Chiaki (Ataru) as a nurse who befriends Asumi.
This edition comes with a bonus disc containing bonus video content.
