Master director Tsui Hark assembles All the Wrong Clues, a zany comedy starring the proven screen team of George Lam and Teddy Robin. When Godfather Capone (the hilarious Karl Mak) is released from jail, he makes it his primary goal to exact vengeance upon Champ (George Lam), a mild-mannered private investigator who was responsible for sending Capone up the river. Capone sends wacky killer Eric Tsang after Champ, but Champ has an ally: Police Chief Robin (Teddy Robin), who decides to protect Champ from Capone's encroaching henchmen. But Capone's criminal adversaries plan to use Champ to double-cross Capone. Who will win: Champ, Capone or Capone's criminal adversaries? And can this movie get any sillier? Tsui Hark throws everything but the kitchen sink into All the Wrong Clues, a breathless and gonzo comedy that simply defies description!  Wall-to-wall jokes Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Before there was 'Naked Gun' there was director Tsui Hark's 'All the Wrong Clues', a film made in the Zucker-Abrahams-Zucker tradition of throwing an endless stream of silly jokes at the viewer to see what gets a laugh. And there are laughs aplenty in this nearly impossible-to-explain flick.

Notorious criminal gang leader Ah Capone (Karl Mak) is released from prison and is bent on revenge against Yoho (George Lam), the private detective responsible for putting him behind bars. Meanwhile crusading police chief inspector Robin (Teddy Robin) is out to bust the city's gangs, including the biggest of them all -- Ah Capone's minions. Any good crime story needs a few flashy dames, and 'All the Wrong Clues' has several ... and they all somehow seem to wind up in Yoho's apartment, much against his will. Toss in a pile of cash that the gang leaders are fighting over, stir vigorously, and you've got one of the zaniest movies you'll ever see.

Tsui Hark never lets the pace of the jokes flag. Lam, Mak, and Robin all are in fine form, as also are the veteran comic actor Tang Kei Chan, Eric Tsang, and David Wu. We even get to see Teddy Robin slug it out with big Bolo Yeung! Don't miss 'All the Wrong Clues'.
