YesAsia Editorial Description

The second film of the All's Well, End's Well series of Lunar New Year comedies, Clifton Ko's All's Well, End's Well Too is a screwball comedy of errors set in the Northern Song Dynasty. An all-star cast that includes Leslie Cheung, Sam Hui, Rosamund Kwan, Teresa Mo, Ricky Hui, Sandra Ng and Raymond Wong serve up laughs in this hilarious film filled with mistaken identities, cross-dressing, parodies and nonsensical hijinks.

Rich brat Chow Tung (Sam Hui) causes trouble everywhere he goes, and his spoiled sister Gut (Sandra Ng) is just as bad. Their mother (Ricky Hui) decides that the way to make her immature but filial children grow up is marriage. However, Gut's arranged husband (Raymond Wong) runs off on their wedding night and escapes with the help of Jinx (Teresa Ng). Tung invites magician David Copper Feel (Leslie Cheung) to perform at his mother's birthday banquet. Both Tung and David meet and fall head over heels for the beautiful Snow White (Rosamund Kwan). Tung is determined to marry Snow White, so David unleashes a plan to thwart him.

Comic mayhem Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Very loosely based upon the Shaw Brothers classic "Bride Napping", "All's Well End's Well, Too" is a very silly tale of mistaken identities, cross-dressing, martial arts, magic, and romance. Leslie Cheung, Rosamund Kwan, Sandra Ng, Raymond Wong, and in particular Samuel Hui and Teresa Mo provide plenty of laughs and are ably supported by Ng Man Tat, Ricky Hui, and many others. Unlike its predecessor ("All's Well End's Well"), this unrelated sequel feels a bit slapdash, as if it was thrown together quickly to meet its '93 Lunar New Year opening date. However, the jokes fly fast and furious and, while some fall flat, plenty of them will keep you in stitches.

Happy New Year again every time I watched it. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
All time funny movie.
Fabulous gags, mesmerizing singing and dancing routines and great chemistry between all the stars.
Teresa Mo was outstandingly funny as the Amazonish woman fighter trying to force first Leslie and then Sam to go to bed with her.
One of Rosamund Kwan' best moment on screen when she sing and danced divinely with Leslie...
No wonder the movie was so good, I found out later that it was directed by the great Ko Chi Sum.

All's Well, End's Well, Too Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is a ridiculously funny movie. However, you have to have knowledge of some old cantonese movie stars and cantonese opera to understand a lot of the 'gags' or you'll miss the point. The whole ensemble are the same as All's Well That Ends Well, except for Rosamund and the other chap (who eventually married Teresa Mo). I couldn't stop laughing from start to finish. Buy it!
