YesAsia Editorial Description

Crystal Kay is probably the newest artist to change the current j-pop scene in Japan. At the young age of 17, this multi talented artist is rising her way up the charts across Japan, and making fans and the crowd move about with her fresh R&B styles! This album was originally released on October of 2002, but sold out so here's your chance to grab your copy! The album contains tracks by Takahashitaku of m-flo and Jesse from RIZE as well! A definite album full of energy to pump your stereo or bump your ride!

Mixed feelings... Customer Review Rated Bad 5 - 5 out of 10
I remember listening to this CD back when I was in Middle School...

I liked about 4 songs on this CD and they were mainly her pop songs like hard to say, missin' u, and hide 'n' seek. She has an excellent pop voice, but not a ballad voice (just in my opinion ^^()).

AWESOME Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I recently borrowed this CD from a friend and let me tell you, this girl can sing like no tomorrow. I really love the song Shooting Star Dust and awesome. If anyone doesn't like her they're insane because she's so talented. I really hope she tries to break into the American market someday. She'd do awesome.

Awesome in the flesh and on CD Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Whoever doesnt like Crystal is crazy. I met her at the MTV music video awards in Japan this year, and let me tell you, she's one of the nicest singers out there! I watched her perform these songs from this cd LIVE as well, just as amazing. I'm from So Cal, born and raised, and her english is better than mine ;) ! I hope she makes it here someday! I'd be the first to buy!

Rock on girl!

Pretty bad Customer Review Rated Bad 1 - 1 out of 10
I actually had high expectations when I bought this album, you know, because Crystal is such a chick. Too bad the music wasn't all that. It was pretty good, but she's nowhere near Twins or something; they are way better. Bye.

Japanese R'nB???????? Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
There is absolutely no doubt about it... Crystal Kay is a very talented singer!! However let's be honest and true to the art form of making RnB music. Especially when it comes down to the collaboration of her and those two ridiculous clowns...mflo!!! Let me say that I also live here in Japan and RnB music and Hip Hop and almost every form of African American culture is extremely popular here but it's just a trend. Japanese people do not understand the music nor the culture and for them it is just a passing trend. Two to three years ago nobody cared about the music like they do now, also Japanese people are generally scared to talk to or be friends with blacks who live in Japan, FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE. Crystal'S music itself is a reflection of ripped off melodies and adlibs from everyone from Janet Jackson to 50 cent!! That isn't real nor original. Copying things from other countries is what Japanese do best. All over the world there are fans of Hip Hop and RnB but don't mistake J-Hip Hop and J-RnB?????? THERE IS NO SUCH THING!!!!!! JUST THE ORIGINAL AFRO AMERICAN VERSION......THE REAL THING!!!!!
