Ao Men Ren Jia (a.k.a. Macau Family and One Dream One Home) depicts the ups and downs of three generations of a Macau family. In a role that won him Best Actor at the 30th China TV Golden Eagle Awards, Hong Kong star Simon Yam plays Liang Dingwen, who takes over the Liang Kee family bakery from his father in the 1980s. In the years that follow, Dingwen and his family encounter many setbacks and hardships, from illness and natural disaster to financial troubles and family conflicts. With Macau's return to China to 1999, both the family and their hometown will encounter more changes and challenges.

八十年代梁鼎文﹙任達華飾﹚接過父親梁恆﹙李立群飾﹚經營的梁記餅店﹐父親梁恆和兒子梁家棟﹙冉旭飾﹚突發重病﹐臺風災難接踵而至﹐弟弟又惹下大禍﹐妻子宋曼琴﹙江珊飾﹚窮極無路﹐將梁家大屋賣給了覬覦大屋的蘇耀庭。梁鼎文大怒將宋曼琴逐出家門﹐認為其受了蘇耀庭之子蘇林的蠱惑﹐宋曼琴悲恨離開。多年後蘇耀庭離世﹐蘇林與宋曼琴回到澳門﹐宋曼琴和梁鼎文因孩子撫養權的問題再生間隙。隨著1999年澳門回歸﹐梁鼎文帶領一家人歷經磨難﹐日子步入正軌。幾年後梁舒﹙董潔飾﹚､梁家棟､陳小帥﹙董晨飾﹚這幾個孩子都已長大成人﹐大陸建築設計師文揚﹙鄧飛飾 ﹚因工作原因寄宿到梁家﹐文揚與梁舒暗生情愫。梁記出現競爭對手﹐梁舒助梁記渡過了難關。大澳集團突遇破產危機﹐蘇家梁家為此四處奔波﹐兩家終於冰釋前嫌﹐蘇林也歸還了梁家大屋房契。臺風的到來讓梁鼎文與韓雅琪﹙柯藍飾﹚患難見真情﹐終於喜結連理。轉眼間澳門迎來了回歸二十周年﹐梁舒文揚同年舉辦婚禮。
