Since the release of The Eye in 2002, the Pang Brothers have effectively rewritten the Hong Kong horror genre. The twin directing duo made their start in Thailand before crossing over to Hong Kong, and more recently to Hollywood with The Messengers. During their career in Thailand, the Pangs often collaborated with leading man Pawarit Mongkolpisit who starred in the original Bangkok Dangerous and 2001's One Take Only, as well as Oxide Pang's Bite Till Die series of films.

Similar to Oxide Pang's Hong Kong thriller The Detective, the Bite Till Die series revolves around a private detective agency run by Dragonhair. The former mercenary investigates various mysterious cases along with his martial arts-adept assistant Gene and tomboyish adopted daughter Anna. This time in Killing Box, Dragonhair has barely had the chance to bask in the happiness of his daughter's return from Japan when bullets and a bomb-like box come flying his way. The incidents seem to be connected with Dragonhair's shady past, but it may be his daughter who ends up paying for his past trespasses.

Former freelance Soldier "Dragon Hair" has retired for years. He set up a private investigation agent and now runs it with a group of martial arts talents. The group's premier investigator, Gene, and orphan who learnt his excellent skills of swords, guns. Thai boxing as well as judo from Dragon Hair, keeps investigating crime cases while searching the whereabouts of his father. Anna, the adopted boyish girl of Dragon Hair also works in the group. Dragon Hair's daughter Run, migrated to Japan with her mother, has now returned to Thai to visit her father. When all seems working so well, Dragon hair is under the threat of death -- a bullet shot into his home, a mysterious bomb - like box was sent to him. Everyone in the detective agent tries to find out who attempts to kill Dragon Hair. The old man has been worrying that he has to pay his debt for what the did 10 years ago but he never imagined his innocent child would also be affected....
