　　春秋戰國時代，息姬(吳君麗)出嫁息國君主息侯(任劍輝)，途中探訪姐姐粉姬(賽珍珠)。姐夫蔡侯(李海泉)垂誕息姬美色，借醉調戲，幸得侍婢解圍。息侯得知妻子被辱，龍顏大怒，但奈何息國兵寡力弱，正苦無計施下，大臣獻計向盟友楚王發信，以息國被蔡國攻打為理由，求楚王施以援手，亦同時向蔡侯發信，請求協助擊退來攻之楚兵，此來息國便可收漁人之利。蔡侯大敗被擒，楚王欲殺之，但為臣下勸服，將蔡侯收歸旗下。蔡侯對息侯含恨在心，伺機報復。蔡侯告知楚王息姬乃世上絕色美女, 楚王心動，迫息侯帶息姬往兵營勞軍以求一見，息侯脅於楚王大軍壓境，迫於就範。楚王一見息姬便為其美色傾倒‧‧‧
