Based on the manga Chimamire Sukeban Chainsaw by Mikamoto Rei, Bloody Chainsaw Girl continues Japan's fine tradition of ultraviolent over-the-top splatter films. The daughter of a junkyard owner, delinquent high school girl Giko (Uchida Rio) heads to school one day for a make-up test. Instead, she's attacked by legions of androids created by bullied classmate Nero (Yamachi Mari), who went full mad scientist and transformed the school's students into all manners of inventive killing machines. Fortunately, Giko has a chainsaw on hand to slice through the assailants as she tries to find out why Nero hates her so much – and successfully pass her test.

Product Information

Delinquent high school studen Giko (Rio Uchida) wields a chain saw like no other, a talent she inherited from her long deceased father. On her way to school, Giko is attacked by Sayuri (Seira Sato), an assassin sent by rival student Nero (Mari Yamachi). It seems that Nero has been burning the mad scientist oil and turning fellow classmates into cyborgs that obey her every command. The nefarious Nero is looking to add Giko into her collection of demented soldiers. Although able to repel Sayuri's attack, Giko is hardly out of the fire, and finds herself targeted by not only Nero, but also by all the members of her school's Ninja Club, including Hanzo (Yuki Tamaki), their female leader who, in addition to a cyborg makeover, received a sex change from Nero. Will Giko be able to ward off the onslaught of mutant cyborgs and return to her life as a normal delinquent high-schooler? Not if Nero has her way!
