Blockbuster director Motohiro Katsuyuki (Bayside Shakedown) adapts Kasahara Masaki's seinen manga Gunjo Senki into the live-action action fantasy Brave: Gunjo Senki! The film depicts the brutal events that unfold when an entire sports high school is suddenly transported back in time to the Sengoku period before the Battle of Okehazama.

Arata Mackenyu (The Master Plan) stars as second-year student Aoi Nishino, a history geek and member of the archery club. With his archery skills and historical knowledge, he emerges as a reluctant leader in these dangerous times, and teams up with athletes of other clubs to fight back against the violent rampage. Miura Haruma co-stars as Tokugawa Ieyasu, Matsuyama Kenichi as Oda Nobunaga, and Yamazaki Hirona, Suzuki Noboyuki, Hamada Tatsuomi, Suzuki Jin and Iijima Hiroki as other students.

This edition comes with an abridged version press kit and a bonus disc with visual commentary, making-of and event footage.

――退屈な授業と、常勝を義務付けられた部活。"その日"は、彼らにとっていつもと同じ学校生活だった。自分に自信が持てない弓道部の西野蒼 (新田真剣佑) は、部活にも力が入らないでいて、幼なじみの瀬野遥 (山崎紘菜) と松本考太 (鈴木伸之) も、そんな蒼のことを気にかけていた。いつもと変わらない日々の中だったが、一本の雷が校庭に落ちて、彼らの日常が一変する。学校の外の見慣れた風景は、見渡す限りの野原となり、校内には刀を持った野武士が襲来して、学校生徒はパニックに! 次々と生徒が倒れていく中、歴史オタクの蒼は、学校がまるごと戦国時代、かの有名な「桶狭間の戦い」の直前までタイムスリップしてしまったことに気付く・・・。
