TV star Sung Hoon (My Secret Romance) and Jo Han Sun (Deep Trap) become twin brothers pitted against each other in the crime thriller Brothers in Heaven from director Park Hee Joon (Mandate). Sung Hoon makes his first foray into the film world as a cold-blooded gangster who gets entangled in a love triangle involving his estranged brother and a young woman played by Yoon So Yi (Hidden Identity). Screened at the 70th Cannes Film Festival, the Busan-set action flick co-stars Park Cheol Min (The Preparation), Son Byung Ho (Empire of Lust), Gong Jung Hwan (Confidential Assignment) and Hong Kong actor Simon Yam (Colour of the Game). Kim Hae Suk appears in a cameo role.

Twin brothers Tae Ju (Jo Han Sun) and Tae Sung (Sung Hoon) were sent to an orphanage after the death of their parents. They soon got separated and grew up living completely different lives. Tae Ju becomes a passionate detective, while Tae Sung, who was jailed for murder at the age of 19, joins a Chinese criminal gang. Twenty years after their separation, Tae Ju re-encounters Tae Sung while investigating an antiques smuggling case. The misunderstandings and conflicts between the two alienated brothers deepen when they both fall for Chan Mi (Yoon So Yi), the daughter of their orphanage's headmaster.
