Cheese in the Trap (2018) (DVD) (Japan Version) DVD Region 2

Having already inspired one of the most talked about Korean dramas of 2016, the webtoon Cheese in the Trap leaps to the silver screen with a film adaptation that stays more closely to the characters and plot of the original story. The drama's leading actor Park Hae Jin reprises as mysterious protagonist Yoo Jung who is seemingly kind and perfect while hiding his true self. Oh Yeon Seo (Run-Off) plays smart and sensitive Hong Seol, who is struggling to put herself through university. Though she sees something unsettling in Yoo Jung, she finds herself increasingly drawn to him.

Praised for its spot-on main cast in comparison to the webtoon, the film version of Cheese in the Trap co-stars Park Ki Woong (Secretly Greatly) as rebellious piano prodigy Baek In Ho and Yoo In Young as his willful sister Baek In Ha, both of whom share a complicated past with Yoo Jung. 2NE1's Sandara Park and singer Oh Jong Hyuk also appear in the film directed by Kim Jae Young, who previously helmed the Korean-Chinese adaptation of the romantic webtoon So I Married My Anti-fan.
