Known for his starring roles in the TV dramas My Wife is a Superwoman and My Fair Lady, Korean actor Yoon Sang Hyun made his Japanese singing debut in March with the single Saigo no Ame. He follows up quickly with his second Japanese single Chikai, a gentle ballad written and composed by singer-songwriter Mori Daisuke. Hirose Komi composed the single's summery B-side Natsu no Trunk. After covering Saigo no Ame for his debut, this time Yoon covers Sugiyama Kiyotaka & Omega Tribe's 1985 hit Futari no Natsu Monogatari for his second B-side.

First Press Limited Edition comes with a music video DVD.
