이번 앨범[The Kiss]는 동명의 흑백 무성영화를 비롯해 역사적인 명작 무성영화들 에서 영감을 받은 곡들과 시적인 느낌이 충만한 음악으로 가득 차 있다. 단순하고 예쁜 멜로디의 기존 뉴에이지 피아노 음악의 한계를 넘어선 수준 높은 기법으로 작곡된 곡들이지만 듣기에도 편안하고 아름다운 음악으로 채워진 앨범이다.
타이틀 곡 “The Kiss”는 마치 시간이 멈춘듯한 달콤한 입맞춤의 느낌을 잘 살려낸 곡이다.
3번 트랙인 “Magic Morning”은 이번 앨범에서 유일하게 밝고 빠른 곡 으로 스윙의 느낌을 한껏 살린 곡 이다. 활기찬 아침의 느낌을 표현했다.
