Directed by Sato Shinsuke (Library Wars), the 2003 sci-fi film Cosmic Rescue stars V6's Coming Century trio – Okada Junichi, Morita Go and Miyake Ken – as members of a space rescue crew. In the near future, mankind has advanced into space, but with increased space travel, there are also increased space accidents. Thus, the need for space insurance and the Cosmic Rescue team, or CR. The 89th Division of CR is formed by legendary leader Nanjo (Morita Go), genius mechanic Eguchi (Miyake Ken) and ambitious rookie Sawada (Okada Junichi). The three go about their daily work in space without much incidence until one day they respond to an SOS signal that pulls them into a series of unexpected events.

[ストーリー]
宇宙での救助活動を職務とするコスミック・レスキュー。クールなキャプテン南條（森田　剛）メカニックで天才肌の江口（三宅　健）熱血漢なルーキー澤田（岡田准一）が属する第８９師団は、バッテリー交換やデブリ拾いなど地味な任務に明け暮れる毎日。そんなある日「誰か助けて！」という第一級救助信号を傍受したことにより、３人は大きな陰謀に巻き込まれていく．．．．．。

 A must buy for Coming Century or V6 fans. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
If you are like me, you tend to get a little turned away from Japanese movies because of the bad acting problem in most cases. ^^; Well rest assured that this movie does not fall in this category!

Action packed from beginning to end, it will give you your daily dose of Coming Century and more. Also for people not fully fluent in Japanese, it does also include very good English subs.

Not to forget the 'making of' also included plus bonus interviews with directo and cast (not subtitled).

You won't be dissapointed by this!
