Suda Masaki, Okada Masaki, Anne, Saito Takumi, Tashiro Hikaru and Yoshida Kotaro are caught in a deadly puzzle in the Japanese remake of Vincenzo Natali's 1997 cult sci-fi horror Cube! Directed by Shimizu Yasuhiko (Pension: Love Is Pink), the 2021 take on Cube breathes new life into the original single location thriller concept of strangers from different walks of life trapped in an enigmatic cube of rooms filled with dangers at every turn.

Six people suddenly find themselves trapped in a cube-shaped room: engineer Goto Yuichi (Suda Masaki), NPO worker Kai Asako (Anne), freeter Ochi Shinji (Okada Masaki), junior high school student Uno Chiharu (Tashiro Hikaru), mechanic Ide Hiroshi (Saito Takumi) and company executive Ando Kazumasa (Yoshida Kotaro). They have no contact or connection with each other, and no idea why they're in the room. When they try to escape, they face the threat of lasers, wire slicers, flamethrowers and other deadly traps. Pushed to their physical and mental limits, will they be able to decipher the code and get out of the Cube alive?
