- Can I play Blu-ray on my computer?
There are currently very few computers in the market that can play Blu-ray. However, hardware and software upgrades enabling Blu-ray playback are available. Computers with internal BD drives should also be readily available in the future. With the appropriate hardware and software, most computers with a 2.8GHz or higher processor should be able to play Blu-ray smoothly. A faster computer and special audio decoding hardware may be necessary to play back the highest video/audio resolution content.
