Short film director Lee So Hyun traces the reasons behind her grandmother's suicide attempt in her first feature Dear Grandma, which won the Audience Award at the 2015 Seoul Independent Film Festival. The heartwarming documentary starts in the summer of 2013 when Lee heard the shocking news about her 94-year-old grandmother attempting suicide. She spends more time with her grandma and starts to understand her pain and distress.
