Trivisa co-director Jevons Au's first solo directorial feature Distinction offers a portrait of everyday Hong Kong life and struggles in the education system. The small and meaningful drama was nominated for Best Original Film Song and Best Actress (Jennifer Yu) at the 38th Hong Kong Film Awards.

Tsui (Jo Koo) teaches music at a special needs school. She wants to switch to a regular school but finds it hard to get a position because she's labeled as a special needs teacher. Zoey (Jennifer Yu) is a mediocre student at a top-tier school and feels stressed out about the upcoming public exam. Rebellious youth Ka Ho (Kaki Sham), who attends a bottom-tier school, wastes his time doing nothing and ignores his mentally disabled brother. Despite being already boggled down with work and personal issues, Tsui gets put in charge of a school musical. Zoey volunteers for the musical in hopes of earning brownie points, and Ka Ho is forced to join to avoid expulsion. Though the three come in to the musical without much thought about the project or the students, they end up on an extraordinary journey of growth and realization.
