  • The Sinking City: Capsule Odyssey (2017) (Blu-ray) (Hong Kong Version) Blu-ray Region A Shiga Lin (Actor) | Pakho Chau (Actor) | Ava Yu (Actor) | Louis Cheung (Actor)
Based on a novel by Due West: Our Sex Journey writer XXharuki, The Sinking City: Capsule Odyssey sends up the ridiculous circumstances of Hong Kong living. Helmed by new directors Stephen Ng and Nero Ng, the viciously funny and locally oriented comedy-thriller uses crude and absurd characters and scenarios to comment on Hong Kong's astronomical housing prices and the struggles and delusions of the little guy in the big city.

Blogger Tsz Hin (Pakho Chau) has much to say about the real estate market online, but in real life, he can barely afford rent. To save money, he lies to his girlfriend (Shiga Lin) that he's going to New York for an internship, and instead secretly moves into a subdivided flat of space capsule-design units. There he meets a colorful array of equally broke and eccentric roommates, including a wacky landlord (Lam Man Chung), a clumsy robber (Bob Lam), a small-time gangster (Babyjohn Choi) and a frustrated driver (Louis Cheung), who resorts to outfitting his van into a love nest in order to sleep with his girlfriend (Joyce Cheng) – but somehow they end up in a shoot-out car chase instead.

  • Wu Kong (2017) (Blu-ray) (English Subtitled) (Hong Kong Version) Blu-ray Region A Shawn Yue (Actor) | Eddie Peng (Actor) | Ni Ni (Actor) | Zheng Shuang (Actor)
Eddie Peng steps into the iconic role of the Monkey King Sun Wukong in the blockbuster fantasy epic Wu Kong, directed by Derek Kwok (Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons). Rather than another retelling of Journey to the West, the action-adventure is actually adapted from Jin Hezai's popular internet novel that reimagines the hot-blooded origin story of Sun Wukong, five hundred years before he raised havoc in heaven. Back then, Wukong was not yet the Monkey King, and Shawn Yue's Erlang was not yet the greatest warrior of heaven. Also co-starring Ni Ni (The Flower of War), Oho Ou (The Founding of an Army), Zheng Shuang (Love 020) and Faye Yu (The Crossing), Wu Kong brings a spectacular new spin, tone and look to the familiar yet different story of the Monkey King in his younger days.

Three hundred years ago, celestial forces destroyed Wukong's (Eddie Peng) peaceful home in Mount Huaguo in order to root out the evil that supposedly resides in the mountains and within him. He vowed revenge, and after centuries of training, he finally enters the pearly gates of the heavenly kingdom as a pupil. In heaven, Wukong meets the willful and lovable Azi (Ni Ni), the daughter of heaven's ruler Tianzun (Faye Yu), as well as his destined rival, Azi's solemn childhood friend Erlang (Shawn Yue). Reckless and defiant, Wukong readily breaks rules and picks fights, putting him at odds with both Erlang and Tianzun's right-hand man, Tianpeng (Oho Ou). After a fierce confrontation, Wukong, Azi, Erlang and Tian Peng all fall from heaven into the cursed wasteland of Huaguo. Their magical powers gone in the mortal realm, the four are suddenly forced to work together to defend Huaguo's villagers from the dark forces that terrorize the mountain.

  • Blade of the Immortal (2017) (Blu-ray) (Premium Edition) (Japan Version) Blu-ray Region All Kimura Takuya | Miike Takashi (Director) | Fukushi Sota | Sugisaki Hana
Kimura Takuya takes the starring role of a cursed samurai in Miike Takashi's epic action-packed adaptation of Samura Hiroaki's classic manga series Blade of the Immortal. In his first period role since 2006's Love and Honor, Kimura plays Manji, a skilled samurai who once murdered 100 men in service of a corrupt warlord. After discovering the true nature of his lord and witnessing his sister's death, Manji vows to kill 1000 evil men to atone for his sins. He begins his mission with nary a thought for his own well-being, accruing wound after wound, until he meets a mysterious old woman who grants him immortality.

Award-winning teen actress Sugisaka Hana (Her Love Boils Bathwater) co-stars as Asano Rin, a young girl whose parents' death Manji pledges to help avenge. Fukushi Shota (As the Gods Will) takes on his first antagonist role as Anotsu Kagehisa, the killer of Rin's father and the leader of a powerful and ruthless dojo. Blade of the Immortal's all-star cast also includes Ichihara Hayato (Yakuza Apocalypse) as cold-blooded killer Shira, Toda Erika (Death Note: Light Up The New World) as powerful swordswoman Otono-Tachibana Makie, Ichikawa Ebizo (Over Your Dead Body) as immortal swordsman Shizuma Eiku, Kuriyama Chiaki (Library Wars) as assassin Hyakurin, as well as Yamazaki Tsutomu (Departures), Kitamura Kazuki (Parasyte), Tanaka Min (47 Ronin) and Mitsushima Shinnosuke (11.25 The Day Mishima Chose His Own Fate).
