    Time waits for no one in the unconventional Hong Kong hitman drama Time, the directorial debut of Ricky Ko. Screen legend Patrick Tse won Best Actor at the 28th Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards for his performance as an aged assassin who starts accepting requests for assisted suicide. Petrina Fung, Lam Suet and Chung Suet Ying co-star in this moving drama, which is produced and co-written by Gordon Lam. Time also won Best Screenplay from the Hong Kong Film Critics Society.

    Chau (Patrick Tse), Fung (Petrina Fung) and Chung (Lam Suet) were once a feared trio of professional killers in the sixties, but that's all in the past. Now in his twilight years, Chau can only use his knife to cut dough to make noodles. Fung, who has property and grandchildren, seems to be doing well, but in reality, her family relations are bad. Chung is a lonely man whose love for a prostitute is not reciprocated. One day, the trio unexpectedly receives a job to assist a client's suicide. Thus, they begin a new line of work assisting ill and elderly people end their lives. They believe that they are helping their clients until they receive a request from an abused and orphaned teenage girl (Chung Suet Ying).

    Trying his hand at another B&W historical biopic after Dongju: The Portrait of a Poet, Lee Joon Ik goes back to the early 19th century and the life of Joseon-era scholar Jeong Yak Jeon, portrayed by Sol Kyung Gu. Exiled to remote Heuksando Island during the Catholic Persecution of 1801, he wrote a book called Jasaneobo about the fish and marine life of the island's waters. Byun Yo Han plays an ambitious young fisherman he befriends. The Book of Fish won the Grand Prize at the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards.

    Miki Takahiro, the director of hit romances like Hot Road, My Tomorrow, Your Yesterday and Blue Spring Ride, helms the Japanese remake of the 2011 Korean romance Always. Yoshitaka Yuriko, who worked with the director before in We Were There, and Yokohama Ryusei (L-DK: Two Loves, Under One Roof) step into the roles originally played by Han Hyo Ju and So Ji Sub.

    Your Eyes Tell depicts the relationship between a woman who lost her eyesight in an accident and a former kickboxer who cut himself off from everyone. Meeting by chance, the two gradually bring light into each other's lives, but it turns out their pasts are connected. Besides Yoshitaka and Yokohama as the protagonists Akari and Rui, the film's cast includes Yabe Kyosuke, Nomaguchi Toru, Okuno Eita, Hannya, Tayama Ryosei, Sakanoue Akane, Okada Yoshinori, Moriya Kanna, Fubuki Jun and Machida Keita.
