The stories revolve around the lives of three childhood friends: An overseas returnee (Christopher Goh) who falls in love with the young wife (Mandy Lieu) of an ambitious politician, a university lecturer (Tsui Tin Yau) who's searching for the truth about his late father and a handsome hair stylist (Kelvin Kwan) whose latest conquest is a rich, middle-aged divorcee (Candy Law). Tsao shows the troubled state of Hong Kong by showing the devastating effects that can happen when social classes, desires and ambitions collide.

Synopsis
