Directed by Park Hee Kon (Insadong Scandal), the film stars Cho Seung Woo (Inside Men) and Ji Sung (Confession), as well as Moon Chae Won in her first historical film since War of the Arrows in 2011. Kim Sung Kyun (Golden Slumber), Baek Yoon Sik (The Face Reader), Yoo Jae Myung (V.I.P.) and Lee Won Geun (Misbehavior) also play important roles in Feng Shui.

During the Joseon era, it was believed that a propitious housing, business or grave location could change one's destiny and that of their descendants. A burial site could even alter the fortunes of the imperial household and the throne. Royal geomancer Park Jae Sang (Cho Seung Woo) loses his family after speaking out against official Kim Jwa Geun's (Baek Yoon Sik) ambitious conspiracy to select an ill-omened burial site for the prince while taking over an auspicious site for his own clan. Thirteen years later, Park Jae Sang finally seeks a chance to take revenge on the rich and powerful Kim. He teams up with Heung Seon (Ji Sung), the déclassé uncle of the young and powerless King Heonjong (Lee Won Geun), to search for a fabled plot of land that could change the course of Joseon.

In Jjoseon, there are geomancers who help people designating propitious site for houses, stores and even graves under the belief that a grave in a good site will bring future fortune for descendants. PARK Jae-sang (Cho Seung-Woo), one of the royal geomancers, loses his family in front of his eyes because he exposed the powerful KIM Jwa-guen’s (Baek Yoon-sik) conspiracy about crown Prince’s grave site. PARK Jae-sang plans to make revenge to KIM Jwa-guan and learns that he is looking for the most propitious grave site that would make his son the king of Joseon. Heung-seon (Ji Sung), a ruined peers but a faithful friend of the King joins PARK Jae-sang to prevent KIM Jwa-geun to usurp the throne by finding that propitious site first.
