Directed by Lou Yi An (White Lies, Black Lies) and co-written with Singing Chen (God Man Dog), the Taiwan crime drama Goddamned Asura is a rich and compelling look into youth culture and disillusionment in contemporary Taipei. Drawing on concepts of Buddhist cosmology and sin, the unsettling ensemble drama intersects the fates of six people whose lives are indelibly changed by a random shooting incident. Joseph Huang (Dear Ex), Morning Mo (My Dear Tenant), Huang Pei Chia (Second Chance), Devin Pan (Waiting For My Cup of Tea), Wang Yu Xuan and Lai Hao Zhe co-star in Goddamned Asura.

On the day he became an adult, Jan Wen (Joseph Huang) made the decision to randomly open fire at the night market. His actions take the life of game streamer Xiao Sheng (Lai Hao Zhe). After Vita (Huang Pei Chia) receives news of her fiance's death, her life comes to an abrupt halt. Online fraudster Lin Lin (Wang Yu Xuan) was supposed to do an interview with reporter Mei Jun (Morning Mo) at the market that night, and became an eyewitness to the crime. Xing (Devin Pan) is convinced that his friend didn't mean to kill anyone.
