Nakamura Tomoya plays a man with seven different personalities in the suspense film Gone Wednesday. He has a different personality every day, and they refer to each other by the day of the week. The seven personalities co-exist in peace, though it is a bit inconvenient. Of them all, "Tuesday" has the most boring life. He spends the day cleaning, picking up things, going to the hospital and doing errands that the others put off. One day, "Tuesday" wakes up and notices that something is different than usual. It's Wednesday! For some reason, "Wednesday" has disappeared. At first, "Tuesday" happily enjoys going to the library, which is usually closed on Tuesday. But fear gradually begins to take hold. It's not just "Wednesday" that's gone. Signs in his home indicate that other days are also not active. What will happen to "Tuesday" then? Gone Wednesday is written and directed by up-and-coming filmmaker Yoshino Kohei, who worked on the CG for Your Name.

故事講述了一個人的體內住著7種人格，他們從周一到週日輪流出現，生活雖然不便，但也還算平穩，直到有一天，星期三消失了。本片的主角「我」，不能和其他的星期直接見面，只能通過日記間接地來知道彼此。在7人之中最樸素無趣的是「星期二的我」，電影就以他的視點去描寫這個奇特的世界。
劇情描述，因幼年時的一起車禍，故事的主角在一週裡會自動切換成7種不同的人格，彷彿就像是7個人共同活在一個身體裡，分別為「星期一、星期二、星期三…… 以此類推」，7個人不但無法見面、某些記憶甚至也無法共用，他們僅能在自己被安排好的日子裡一週現身一次。
其中星期二是7個人裡面性格最平凡的青年，通常都由他負責打理家務、處理一些麻煩事，直到某天，星期二卻發現自己在不該醒來的日子甦醒…… 星期三，竟無預警地消失了？
