 Chatty Girls in Big Stretchy Cars Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
T-ara have sprung back into action lately like a springy sprung thing that’s about to spring into action even more. Solo member projects and T-ara anthology albums what with the new Best of collections for DVD/Bluray and CDs, too. Well I hope T-ara are feeling great along with it all. Anyway all looking good. For T-ara’s 2nd Japanese album I bought this Gossip Girls Sapphire edition and Diamond Edition. Nice.

The Sapphire chunky box packaging is a CD size box and features a slip case and inner gatefold box which houses the two disks and a side pouch for the lyric booklet. There’s also one small individual T-ara member card included with Boram (hurrah!) for me...I still think Boram looks like Helena Bonham Carter ;). The songs are varied, familiar and amusingly interesting. The opening ‘Just Now’ brought to mind a Kara song, but in a pleasant surprise sorta way, me appreciating both girl groups. ‘Lucky Wannabeee!’ is no doubt THE T-ara song though and a bit flavoured to the dance hit ‘Lovey Dovey, but good. MUSICA MUSICA is another dance spectacular, the opening bars bringing to mind one popular song by another GG (Oh! I’m sure you know which one..the song that is) and probably the second best T-ARA dance song. ‘A-HA’ is quite the contrast being a rock blues type and ‘Knockin on My Heart’ another good one. Still for me ‘Number Nine’ remains my fav and ‘Lead the Way’ following on nicely. TTL’s DJ Hanmin remix is nice, in fact really nice for an update on an ‘old’ T-ara song. Overall GG is a good album with strong contenders for T-ara live shows. But T-ara are a more than their songs which is the same for any similar dance variety bands. Only Childs (same as me) and Soyeon’s hard beginnings after leaving Girl’s Generation for instance, it’s all part of a Big Life Experience Thing.

DVD includes the MV’s of of Number Nine, Lead the Way and Memory (scenes from Hyomin’s ‘Jinx!!!’) and cute watchable extras of T-ara studio song recording and a photo shoot for the GG sleeve cover. For T-ara members all I can say for these videos is Bless Them as that was my immediate thought whilst watching. All the girls are pleasant funsters in a tough schedule world and yes, work hard. Jiyeon’s character is getting so cool by the minute she’ll be being interviewed on The Graham Norton Show at this rate (if promoting in the UK of course). :D Anyway, T-ara love this new Japanese album and I hope you all keep positive with your KA spirits.
