YesAsia Editorial Description

Directed by Toki Yoshimasa, Heaven Can Wait. Maybe... (a.k.a. Tengoku wa Matte Kureru) brings together V6's Inohara Yoshihiko and rock artist Kiyokiba Shunsuke (SHUN) in a touching film about love, friendship, and everything in between. Inohara has previously appeared in Sabu's Hold Up Down and Hard Luck Hero, but this marks his first film outing without his bandmates, while Kiyokiba makes his film debut here, continuing to move further away from his EXILE days. Screenwriter Okada Yoshikazu may be a seasoned name in the business, having written many popular small and silver screen works like Be With You, Space Travelers, Bambino, and Beach Boys, but Heaven Can Wait. Maybe... is also a new endeavor for him as it is adapted from his own debut novel. And with the film being greenlighted before the novel was even published, expectations are certainly high for this latest entry into the Japanese "pure love" genre.

Inseparable since childhood, Hiroki (Inohara Yoshihiko), Takeshi (Kiyokiba Shunsuke), and Kaoru (Okamoto Aya) have always been the best of friends. One day, Takeshi confesses his love to Kaoru in front of Hiroki. His actions throw the three friends' relationships out of balance, as both Hiroki and Kaoru struggle to understand what it all means. Days later, Takeshi is severely injured in an accident and left comatose, with little hope for recovery. Hiroki and Kaoru steadfastly care for their friend, and Takeshi miraculously emerges from coma. But all he has left is 30 days.

This edition includes audio commentary with Inohara Yoshihiko and director, trailer, teaser, and TV spot.
