Eight years after My Girl, Lee Dong Wook and Lee Da Hae reunite in the 2014 MBC weekend drama Hotel King, a revenge and romance melodrama set in the cutthroat hotel industry. Lee Dong Wook plays the cold hero who rose from tough beginnings to become the general manager of a luxury hotel. Seeking revenge against the father who abandoned him, he looks to take over the hotel while dealing with conflicting interests and manipulative enemies. Lee Da Hae is the cheery and unpredictable heiress trying to save her family's hotel, and throwing a wrench in the hero's plans and heart in the process.

Hotel King is directed by Kim Dae Jin (daily family dramas Just Like Today and Life is Good) with a script by Jo Eun Jung (Feast of the Gods). Wang Ji Hye (Protect the Boss), singer-actor Alex (Pasta), Kong Hyun Joo (Dummy Mommy), veterans Lee Deok Hwa and Kim Hae Suk, as well as 2AM member Im Seul Ong, who appeared with Lee Dong Wook in his last drama Mandate of Heaven, co-star in the series. N of idol boy band VIXX and Jewelry's Ye Won also appear as hotel staff members.

 DVD quality & packaging & great couple Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
This DVD version has a nice & sturdy digipak case packaging with good English, however, it has 1 disc (4 episodes) with missing subtitle here and there, subtitle show up for the background music instead of what the actor/actress were saying. The screen size were zoomed in too close so on some scenes, it got cut off from the edge. No break for separate scenes/sections under each episode. YESASIA, please release "North America" or "Korean" versions with better quality than this one.

And, DongHae couple was cute, they had a great chemistry and acted so well in this drama... they were the reason I hooked on this drama.
