Based on the moving true story of a young woman from Hokkaido who finds love after a car accident leaves her wheelchair-bound and with memory problems, I Just Wanna Hug You stars Kitagawa Keiko (Roommate) and Kanjani8's Nishikido Ryo (Kenchou Omotenashika) as the central couple. The popular film, directed by Shiota Akihiko (Dororo), grossed almost US$2 million at the Japanese box office.

Five years after the death of his wife Tsukasa (Kitagawa Keiko), Masami (Nishikido Ryo) tells their young son their love story. Tsukasa is half-paralyzed and has memory problems due to a traffic accident she encountered when she was in high school, but she is a spirited young woman who does not allow her medical conditions to define her. A chance meeting brings her and kind taxi driver Masami into each other's lives. As they spend more time together, their feelings for one another grow deeper, but they must overcome the opposition of their parents in their pursuit of happiness.

This edition includes a 16-page booklet, a set of four postcards and bonus footage.
