2NE1 NEW EVOLUTION Sleeveless Shirt (Women) (Black)
(1)Our Price: US$33.99List: US$44.99Save: US$11.00 (24%)July 23, 2013 Summery FunI received this recently as an early birthday gift. It's made of a very thin cotton fabric, so don't worry, it won't be hot even in Black during the scorching summer heat. Pair it with some colorful tank top underneath and some cute shorts for the perfect Summery fun fresh look. I did this and it looks fantastic. Plus, I get SO MANY compliments everywhere I go. It's a MUST HAVE item for any Blackjack. I absolutely ADORE it. Plus I love the zipper pouch it comes in, which is made of a thick plastic. When I'm not wearing the shirt I keep it in there. When I am wearing the shirt I attached a cord thingy to the pouch so I can bring it with me on the go to carry other stuff in. Even both of 'em together make a great fashion statement and show off my love for the girls. Highly Recommended!! Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
ayumi hamasaki ARENA TOUR 2012 A -HOTEL Love songs- Tissue Case (PINK)
July 20, 2013 Cute & PracticalWhen I ordered this I thought it was much smaller and it was simply for putting loose tissues in. It's not like this at all. It's a good size and is designed so you put the entire normal sized tissue box in it. It also snaps closed at one end and has an additional strap if you wanna hang it up on a hook or something. Plus its made of a thick and durable fabric, so it'll never wear and tear easily. And lastly, the design is just SO cute and adorable. I put mine on my dresser and just use it as decoration for my room, which really dresses it up a bit more. Highly recommended!! Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Ivy Mini Album - Interview
May 23, 2013 Highly DisappointedI first got introduced to Ivy by a friend with her very first album "My Sweet & Free Day" quite a long time ago. Since then I bought it and her 2nd and 3rd album along with it. They're frequently played favorites on my music playlist. She has always had a special talent and uniqueness with her voice and her music. It stands out from the large majority of everyone else. This is what I've always liked about her. Everything from all genres of the songs she produces is something extra special to me. However sadly with this mini album, she does nothing but generic boring ballads for pretty much the entire CD. I have always liked her ballads and I enjoy slow songs a lot, but these really don't stand out from the crowd like her previous work. Please Ivy go back to that special spark you had before with your next release. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
KODA KUMI LIVE TOUR 2013 -JAPONESQUE- Koda Kuma Strap (JAPONESQUE)
April 25, 2013 Kawaii KumaSo I just got this in the mail today. When I ordered it I was already excited to get it, but when I opened the package I was even more happy. For starters, this strap truly is as big as it shows the example of it in the pictures YA has for display. It's REALLY BIG for a phone strap. Also, it's made of this soft squishy rubber stuff, except for the umbrella piece which is a harder PVC I believe. However, it's still very strong and well made. Plus it's just SOOOOO INCREDIBLY KAWAII!! I've been fan-girling over it ever since I took it out of the box that it was shipped in. I immediately attached it to my phone and while out today I've gotten about a dozen compliments on it already. People love it just as much as I do. It was a great purchase I'll NEVER EVER regret. Highly Recommended!! ^_^ Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
2NE1 NEW EVOLUTION Cross Bag
April 23, 2013 Great CollectibleI've had this Cross Bag since it first came out last year. It's very cute and I take it out with me all the time. It looks very fashionable with a lot of different types of clothing. I get compliments on it all the time from both Blackjacks and even people who don't even know who 2NE1 is as well. *KEEPS FINGERS CROSSED THAT SOON EVERYONE DOES KNOW THEM* I even wore it to Newark when I went to their concert last year as well. It has two pockets inside, the main one and a side one. Only small thing I will mention is if you want to use your wallet with it, it's not big enough for you to put larger wallets in it. You'll need to use a smaller one or keep your wallet in your pants pocket. However, it is great for carrying over all sorts of other stuff. I use it for my mp3 player, make up and all sorts of other accessories. I highly recommend it out to all Blackjacks everywhere on the planet! Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
KODA KUMI LIVE TOUR 2013 -JAPONESQUE- Chopsticks
April 22, 2013 Beautiful & PracticalAt one time, you never would've seen me using chopsticks, and if you had I would've been trying to use them to stab my food as if they were a couple forks in frustration. However a few years ago I took the time and practiced til I could use them properly without much thought or real effort. Now I enjoy using them on a regular basis. Most of the time I actually prefer them over using the western world fork and knife tradition. Anyways, I love Kumi Koda and so I bought these chopsticks. The picture here doesn't do them much justice. They're far more beautiful in real life and I love the little wrapping they come in. The cloth's so beautiful. Plus it keeps the chopsticks themselves together and clean when I'm not using them. I actually got two of these. One set for at home use and another set I keep in my bag for when I'm out. I rarely ever use anything else to eat with anymore. Plus I get many compliments on them on a regular basis whether the people know who Kuu-chan is or not. They're such an amazingly wonderful collectible and I'm very happy I picked them up. I'd highly recommend them out to any other fan of hers. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

February 17, 2013 Fallen In Love <3Ever since this album released I've had it on repeat from the second I opened the parcel once it arrived. Every song is just incredible, and while I'll admit that on the whole it is a bit on the lighter side than most of Ayu's stuff lately, it's still not boring by any means and has a very wide variety of upbeat songs and ballads. The lyrics bring back Ayu's classic meaningful charms, which make me feel a great range of emotions depending on which track I'm listening to. She's an artist for so much more than just her music though. She conveys everything about her through everything she does both on and off stage, in the recording studio or just walking the streets being herself. I ADORE every track on this album from start to finish, but I'd have to say my favorites are Wake Me Up, the awesome interlude "task'n'bass", Bye-Bye Darling, snowy kiss, sweet scar, petal and untitled for her story2. As for the DVD Content, at first I wasn't really liking the new PVs too much, but they did grow on me A WHOLE LOT. It's great to see Ayu doing her own thing and not letting herself being weighed down by what's the popular thing right now. While they may seem less creative, they actually truly are. She's just proven you don't need a ton of special effects or out of this world/time costumes, sets etc to always be creative. Also, watching her behind the scenes is always awesome, even if you don't understand or speak Japanese. Then lastly, the covers and photobooklet inside are absolutely simply gorgeous with so many lovely photos and a grand design on every page. Definitely Buy This Album!! You Won't Regret It!! Do As Infinity X (ALBUM+DVD)(Taiwan Version)
February 2, 2013 Fabulous!I've been a bit of a slump with DAI lately. It took me awhile to get into their "newer" (ie. Eternal Flame, Eight & Time Machine) stuff after they came back from that few year hiatus after they released the Need Your Love album. However, this album is positively fabulous from start to finish. Not even one filler track. And I think Van Tomiko's vocals have really improved as well. I highly recommend this album out to all previous fans of this great Japanese pop/rock duo and even newcomers should give them a listen. They've been fantastic for a long time, and I hope they continue to shine for many many more years to come. I can't stop listening to this nonstop. It's another great addition to their discography. Give it a try!!
PS. I haven't watched the concert yet, but their shows are usually great. Just not overly elaborate like shows from Ayumi Hamasaki or Kumi Koda. Still they easily make them very fun to watch.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
A Classical (Japan Version)
2 people found this review helpful
January 5, 2013 LovelyI've always had a love and deep appreciation for many genres of music. Everything from Pop, Rock, R&B, Rock'n'Roll, Soul, Techno, Jazz etc, but Classical has always been one of my favorites despite I still listen to many other more modern genres as well. Ayu's last classical album "My Story Classical" had many great tracks, but also had a few misses for me. Sorry Ayu, but rockish songs like Game just didn't sound that great done with a classical mix. With her latest A CLASSICAL, the tracklist choosing has all come off much better. I feel like she chose a better set of songs to do Classical mixes this time on the whole. One very breathtaking track to point out on this album is the Classical version she's done for Seasons. It sounds fantastic redone this way. I also must admit I wasn't expecting much from You & Me being a Classical version, but even that surprised me. It was quite good, but not perfect. Was probably my least favorite track on the album. The only little thing is that I wish some of the tracks were a bit longer cause at only 10 tracks it falls a bit short. Plus I think it might've been interesting to hear these Classical tracks without her voice put in as well, but oh well. It's a very nice release and highly recommended to Ayu and Classical music fans. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

2NE1 - 2012 2NE1 Global Tour Live CD [New Evolution in Seoul] + Poster in Tube
(2)Our Price: US$22.99List: US$29.99Save: US$7.00 (23%)December 23, 2012 ExcellentI went to the New Evolution Tour in Newark, NJ and the show was utterly amazing from start to finish. I live in Canada, so I had to spend extra money to travel there. However, it was definitely pennies well spent. This CD was however recorded from the show in Seoul, so it's not the exact same to what I heard while I was at the Newark stop. Still, this catches the pure energy and talent CL, Bom, Dara and Minzy displayed on stage. I actually enjoy this Live CD even more than the one from their previous NOLZA tour. They have even far more energy and seem even more confident on the stage. Both the NOLZA & New Evolution Tours were great though. Also the decoration of the case and the inserts are cool and beautiful. Then the poster is the BEST official 2NE1 poster to come out so far in my opinion. It has a great up close shot of all 4 of the girls on stage looking very professional and casual at the same time. I've plaque mounted it and added it to my wall. I'd also like to add that I'm not overly big into the whole KPOP thing, but I do believe these 4 young women have some incredible talent. Just give them a listen. Did you find this review helpful? (1)Our Price: US$22.25Usually ships within 7 daysDecember 17, 2012 Japanese singleSo I'm guessing this new single for Japan is these two songs now in Japanese. While BoA has done many Japanese versions of Korean songs and vice versa before, I'm a bit disappointed. I have these songs in Korean already. Still, the Korean originals are lovely songs anyways, so I'd encourage everyone to give them a listen. However, this single is also a positive sign none-the-less. Hoping for a brand new Japanese album soon with many more BRAND NEW songs on it too. Don't keep me waiting BoA! I've been missing you in Japan. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

Many of her Music Videos are also very lovely as well, which is why this DVD set first interested me so much. The DVD quality is wonderful. I borrowed a copy off a friend recently and watched it. However, for 44 MVs and not much else in terms of content, it's just not worth it with such a high price tag. If they bring down the price to maybe about half this, I'll certainly have a second thought on purchasing it. I'll just never understand why Japan Releases are SO expensive and also how anyone in Japan ever affords to buy this type of stuff with the prices they ask for things.... LOVE (Mini Album+DVD)(Japan Version)

October 19, 2012 Mini Album or Single?Mini album? Really? To be honest this more so reminds me of the type of tracklisting for Ayu's singles in the old far off days when she had numerous singles with a couple new tracks and a ton of remixes and instrumentals added on back around like the "I Am" and before that eras. There's technically only 3 new songs here which is a disappointment, even though I've heard the previews which are out and I can honestly say I like them so far. I just feel like Ayu should have just released this as a new single instead. Last one was what? "L" back before "Love Songs" released a couple years ago... Did you find this review helpful? 2NE1 NEW EVOLUTION Pin Buttons
August 17, 2012 Fun & AwesomeThese buttons are so simple but awesome. They're really well made plastic pin badges that won't ever come off what you pin them to. I decorated my jacket with them and they certainly grab quite a bit of attention. Plus the smaller ones of the girls are too awesome. I love the theme they chose for them. The 2 larger ones are great too. You get all 6 in the set for a real nice cheap price. So if you're a Blackjack like me, it's an easy few dollars to put out for some cool 2NE1 merchandise that you'll definitely use and be seen in public wearing wherever you go. Give 'em a try. There's so many places and things you can use 'em to decorate: tshirts, jackets, bags, knapsacks etc. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

August 16, 2012 I LOVE YOU 2NE1When I saw this shirt I bought it right away. I love how all 4 of the girls pictures are on it in the awesome Queen Playing Cards design. It's very soft comfortable cotton shirt and looks fabulous. It draws a lot of attention too. I get people complimenting me on it all the time. I even get both people who DO and DON'T know who 2NE1 is already saying awesome stuff about it. I personally bought mine elsewhere, but it was about same price. I highly recommend this shirt to every blackjack out there. Oh and I noticed the size measurements for the MEDIUM SIZE are missing from the pictures, so here they are to help everyone out.

July 9, 2012 20th Anniversary Prt37.) GMB is one of my favorite Namie ballads to this day. It’s a gorgeous mid-tempo ballad that despite not being in English I find very inspiring after reading the translation. I can literally listen to this on repeat for hours and feel just so perfectly wonderful. 10/10
8.) Another pretty ballad, which I often find myself swaying back and forth to. It doesn’t have quite the same effect on me as the previous, but it’s still a strong one I deeply enjoy. 9.9/10
9.) Another upbeat danceable track. Her vocals are awesome on this track! I can’t stop dancing! 9.9/10
10.) The 4th English song to be on the album, and I really like it. However, sometimes when she gets real quick, it’s not quite as easy to understand her perfectly, but it still isn’t too bad. This track sorta reminds me of something that’s a mix of a modern day and 80’s dance club song. 9.8/10
11.) This song is sorta a mid-upbeat in the middle type of song. I’m not quite overly sure how to fully describe this. However, I really enjoy it. While I’m not positive on the translation, I feel as if it’s telling me to fight for the love I find in life. 9.9/10
12.) This song is the final English song on the album, and it’s actually the one that I find the English is the worst. However, it’s still not terrible. It’s mostly just her pronunciation at a few parts. Overall, it’s still rather clear. The lyrics are simple, but lovely. Her voice suits this so well. 9.8/10
13.) Parts of this song remind me of a mother singing her young child a lullaby for some reason. Other parts are this erupted gorgeous ballad. It’s a lovely way to finish off the album. 9.8/10Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Uncontrolled (Jacket A)(ALBUM+DVD)(Japan Version)
July 9, 2012 20th Anniversary Prt21) This is a hyper fun dance track. The lyrics aren’t all that complicated, but it’s certainly a fun track to get you moving. It’s also the first song that’s completely in English & I must say that I can understand her really well. I never once needed to check the lyrics booklet to see what she had said. 9.8/10
2.) Another fun dance track with bits of that electronica stuff in it. However, it’s not used over top of her voice, which is awesome. This song is mostly in Japanese and I’m not fluent, so I can’t really say much for the lyrics. I’m pretty sure this song has something to do with an intimate evening, but I’d have to look up the translation to be sure. 10/10
3.) This song is yet another upbeat one and also the 2nd track on the album to be in English. Her English is yet again, very clear. The song is about how she loves this guy, but he treats her badly. Very much love. 9.5/10
4.) This song is very cool. While I’m not 100% sure exactly what it’s about, its funny listening to her talk to the guy she’s singing about like he’s her pet dog. 10/10
5.) Hot Girls is my least liked song on the album. It’s the 3rd song to be completely in English, and while I can understand her very well, I find the chorus of them repeating “Hot girls make the world go round” a bit annoying. Also, to add to it, there are a few parts where her voice has that electronic sound pieced in, which didn’t leave me too happy. 7/10
6.) With most “album versions” of singles by most artists, I usually can barely hear any difference from the original. However, with this one it’s really obvious. It’s louder and the beat is faster. All in all, I actually like this version more than the original single version. 9.9/10Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Uncontrolled (Jacket A)(ALBUM+DVD)(Japan Version)
July 9, 2012 20th Anniversary Prt1Packaging: The cover seems to be disliked by many. However, I personally really like it. The concept of Namie wearing almost no make-up with an eclipse over shadowing her is quite a nice welcome indeed as many of her past recent albums were loaded with make-up and photoshop. She’s nearly 35, and I love seeing her as the beautiful natural woman she is. The letters are written in that gold shiny stuff, which isn’t perfect contrast, but it’s not bad. Turn it over to the back and the only thing I didn’t like is the tracklist isn’t written on it. It’s only on a clear sticker on the plastic wrapping. However, the sticker was easily transferred to the actual case, so I won’t complain too much. Open the case, and the cover itself has a sleeve in it which slides out the booklet, and just to the right are the 2 Disks. I enjoy the sleeve very much as last time for PF, the booklet was left hanging loose, which has become a nuisance. The CD is in gold and DVD, in silver. Behind the DVD is yet another eclipse picture of her again, but in a different pose. Then the booklet itself has a cover of Amuro wearing black high heel dress shoes and a white blazer coat sitting on a bench leaning forward. Inside you’ll only find 2 more images of her in the same outfit, but sexier poses. All other pages are simply black with the lyrics and other information written on them, which I must admit I find disappointing seeing as how this is her 20th Anniversary album. May 20, 2012 Previews...I honestly know people have been complaining and upset about there only being 4 new songs, but personally, this is why I started ignoring singles as much as possible so when the artist's new album came out, a lot more of it would sound brand new to my ears, but I guess it's much easier for myself than the others in Asia. At this point, the only ones I've heard are Break It & Get Myself Back, which I thought were fantastic songs. The PV for GMB was simple but gorgeous. The one for Break It however, wasn't quite as good, but I still enjoyed it. Plus I have heard that the song ONLY YOU will be Namie's first song EVER to be 100% in English. This I can't wait to hear, but I'm not expecting it to be perfect pronunciation as I know that she isn't fluent. Still I think the idea is very cool and sweet of her. Maybe trying to reach out to her international fans? Plus, if you preorder like super early, the album comes in a special packaging with a B2(think about 70x50cm) poster, which I just can't pass up. The only thing I feel I should mention about this is that I've found YA's shipping of posters isn't always the best unless it's shipped by the super quick option. If you really care about this a lot, I'd recommend paying the extra bit this one time.
Oh and btw, Happy Anniversary Namie!! Congratulations On 20 Fantastic Years!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

(1)Our Price: US$24.98May 16, 2012 Boring...I bought this after many people kept saying how great her latest tour was, which I didn't get to go see in person. Just I must admit that despite the frequent dancing, elaborate stage and props etc, I found it boring. I was falling asleep by like half way through. Also, it's a bit short as well. I like Britney, but the show's just really missing something for my taste. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
