Ji Sung (Entertainer) displays his honed acting skills in the high-rating SBS drama Innocent Defendant. The actor vividly portrays a wrongly convicted prosecutor who struggles to clear his name in the legal thriller directed by Jo Young Kwang (49 Days) and written by Choi Su Jin (City Hunter). Innocent Defendant also co-stars Uhm Ki Joon (Golden Cross), Girls' Generation's Kwon Yu Ri, Oh Chang Seok (Jang Bo Ri Is Here!), Uhm Hyun Kyung (House of Bluebird), Kim Min Seok (Doctors) and Jo Jae Yoon (Descendants of the Sun).

Park Jung Woo (Ji Sung) is a top prosecutor who never loses a case. Then one day, he wakes up in prison as a death row inmate convicted of killing his wife and daughter. To find the real murderer, he tries to rekindle his lost memories with the help of righteous lawyer Seo Eun Hye (Kwon Yu Ri) and fellow inmate Shin Cheol Sik (Jo Jae Yoon). Nevertheless, corporate heir apparent Cha Min Ho (Uhm Ki Joon) will do whatever he can to keep Jung Woo behind bars.
