It's a Mad, Mad, Mad World II (1988)
The family from It's a Mad Mad World are back for more get-rich-quick family hijinks in It's A Mad Mad World II! After their brush with riches via the Mark VI Lottery, the family is back to their normal lives. But Dad (Tung Piu) is transferred overseas to Vancouver when his bosses think he may know about their embezzlement crimes. The family moves to Canada, and daughter Elsie Chan picks up a new boyfriend in Lowell Lo. Unfortunately, Dad is fired, meaning it's back to Hong Kong to start all over in public housing. But when the family comes up with a winning lottery ticket in Canada, it seems their problems might be solved! It's a mad race to claim the winnings, but who else is after the prize? Like the first film in the series, It's A Mad Mad Mad World II is a cheerful situation comedy about the lure of wealth and the ultimate power of the family unit. Co-starring Lydia Shum and Loletta Lee, the saga of It's A Mad Mad Mad World continues with two more sequels!

It's A Mad Mad Mad World III (1989)
Even after making it rich, the family of It's A Mad Mad Mad World still can't stop getting into trouble! In It's A Mad Mad Mad World III, the family is now happy and wealthy, but their fortune doesn't last. They lose everything, and to make matters worse there are romantic issues for their two eldest daughters! Elsie Chan is being courted by both Lowell Lo and Eric Tsang, and the adorable Loletta Lee has just fallen in love. To top it all off, mom Lydia Shum thinks dad Tung Biu is having an affair - and she's picked up a nasty gambling habit to boot! Money is a bigger issue than ever, but with a strong, loving family behind them, this group can get through anything! Family values get another strong push in the third hilarious and heartwarming film in the It's a Mad Mad Mad World series.
