Don't forget "Remember"! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Kim Bum Soo's "Remember" album now is over eight years old, but it still sounds great. After a lovely orchestral intro, we get sixteen straight pop and R&B ballads and love songs that provide an exquisite setting for Mr. Kim's extraordinarily supple voice. Kim shows a great range and varies the textures of his voice from silky smooth to boldly passionate. The vast majority of these songs are expertly crafted and beautifully played.

Of the sixteen songs, I have problems only with three of them: Track 8 is a soulful R&B number, but oddly half way through the song it simply is ended with a fade out. Track 14 could have been one of the album's best, but Kim Bum Soo is paired with other singers who simply can't keep up with him. Track 16 is a bit bland and the arrangement is treacly. Of course, that leaves 13 absolutely terrific songs -- much more than enough to merit the highest praise. "Remember" is a classic!

WoW very IMPRESSIVE~~~ Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I'm very upset for the lack of recognition this artist, Kim Bum Soo gets. Even though this guy is currently #4 on the charts for his song "Haroo", he isn't as popular as some medicore singers right now. What a shame. This guy has the vocals as impressive as Kim Jo Han. Yes I'm a teenager that listens to korean gayo and was never a Kim Bum Soo fan. I only listened to a clip of "Haroo" and I instantly fell in love with the song. The next two days, I went out and bought it. I was taking a risk of buying a c.d by an artist I've never seen or heard before and only listening to one song by him. But I did it anyways...I had that doubt in mind that it was going to turn out bad. But boy I was majorly wrong~!! I've never heard such an excellent c.d in a LONG time~!! I'm even amazed at myself because I NEVER skip any tracks at all~!! All of the songs are soOOO comforting and soothing to the ear. All of the ballads DON'T sound the same unlike a lot of singers these days. Each song has it's own style and significance. And Kim Bum Soo has a very distinct singing style in each song. He's that good. I still don't know what he looks like (no pics of his face in the booklet), and I'm totally fine w/'s the music that counts~! Haroo is such a great song...I first d/led the song before I bought this c.d, and listened to it over and over again. And it's now really fun to sing along with it. LOL. Track 2 is a great R&B song, and you can really tell how great Kim Bum Soo sings in this song. Very good. I even love Track 8 w/ Lee Hyun Do guess rapping in it. I was pretty surprised that they didn't say that their were guest stars in it. Like Lee Hyun Do and some other guy I don't know on Track 14 which Kim Jo Han directed~~! The song w/ Lee Hyun Do is a really really good hip-hop/slow jam song. I love it...even though it's pretty short. Overall this c.d a SoooOO worth buying~!! All of the tracks are sOOo good and not boring like some ballads. At some points, Kim Bum Soo sounds like Kim Jo Han and Lim Chang Jung at places...he's really good. Totally Recommended for ballads lovers~! Don't hesitate, cause that's what I did and it ended up being a great c.d~! Kim Bum SoO Rocks~!
