재즈 피아니스트 ’김영재’ EP [Movement]
뉴욕의 재즈 명문 뉴스쿨 음대를 졸업하고 뉴욕에서 오랜 활동을 한 피아니스트 ‘김영재’ 의 첫 EP 앨범이 발매되었다. 이번에 발매된 그의 데뷔 EP는 재즈 그리고 힙합과 네오소울 에서 받은 영향이 절묘하게 어우러진 다섯 개의 자작곡들로 채워져 있다. 전통과 혁신을 넘나드는 자작곡들과 미국에서 활동하고 있는 젊은 한국 뮤지션들의 신선한 연주가 단연 돋보이는 앨범이다. 또한 ’Wayne Shorter’, ‘Herbie Hancock’ 등의 뮤지션들과 작업한 그래미 엔지니어 ‘Dave Darlington’ 이 믹싱과 마스터링에 참여하여 앨범의 완성도에 더욱 기여하였다.
