One of the most well-known and romanticized conflicts of Chinese history, the Chu-Han Contention is often reimagined onscreen, most recently in the films White Vengeance and The Last Supper. Award-winning actor Chen Daoming returns to television to play Liu Bang, the founder of the Han Dynasty, while Peter Ho transforms into the fierce and tragic Xiang Yu. The epic drama also co-stars Qin Lan as Empress Lu Zhi, Li Yixiao as Yu Ji, Liu Yuxin as Lady Qi, Duan Yihong as general Han Xin, Huo Qing as strategist Zhang Liang, Yang Lixin as statesman Xiao He, Hu Dong as Ying Bu and Sun Haiying as Xiang Yu's advisor Fan Zeng.

Product Information

In 210 BC, Emperor Qin the Second's heartless cruelty caused widespread poverty among the people, who could no longer tolerate and started uprising one after another. Xiang Yu war the 'King of Western Cu' in the insurgents. Liu Bang joined in the insurrectionary army. Eventually, he and his army succeeded in breaking into Xianyang, the capital of Qin, having ended the rule of the Qing Dynasty. After the fall of the Qin Dynasty, Liu recruited a large number of falents, having hidden his abilities and kept a low profile, opened the prelude of the war between Chu and Han. Finally, Liu inflicted heavy losses on Xiang Yu's army in Gaixia.

Hi Te7037, have you watched the english sub version, if so, how is it??

I am currently watching Jumong and not quite almost done, lol.

This series looks absolutely promising and really caught my attn. real quick.

I looked all over on google for an eng sub version to see if I can view it or not, alot of sites says english but its really in chinese sub, :(

Not one site is in english, so this is the reason I asked if you watched the english sub version, thanks.

Brilliant actors from the Three Kingdoms Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
If you have watched the 2010 series, 'Three Kingdoms' and found the actors brilliant, you must watch this series.

Almost all the actors from the previous series were in this.

The actor who played the character, 'Liu Bei', plays the first Emperor of China.

I am watching this series because I enjoy his acting, and Chen Dao Ming being in this series, actually makes me even more excited about this series.
