January 20, 2007 Cool album
In my opinion this is BoA's 2nd best Japanese album. To me the first is Love & Honesty, but I know most people think Valenti is her best album. Personally I think Valenti is the third best. This is a really good album. The only complant I have about it is that I wish there was more than 4 slow songs on it. There were a few songs that were kinda slow, but I just wish there was more. I have the same problem with that on Love & Honesty too. Whe only had 3 slow songs. Besides all that its fine. And if you can get the special edition. The special edition makes it a lot better. The DVD on the special version also includes BoA in the love bug.
ASTROMANTIC (Hong Kong Version)January 20, 2007 Surprising.
I've had this album for about 4 days and I'm really surprised how m-flo's music sounds. This is the first album I've ever had of m-flo. I've heard about almost all of there singles though. I was really surprised because the album sounded nothing like there singles(At least to me it didn't). Songs like STARSTRUCK and Astrosexy sound like there recent singles. The other songs on the album sound really different. I had no idea m-flo made music like that. Besides all that the albums really good and you should buy it.
Volcano High (Japan Version) [HD DVD]September 9, 2006 Great Movie
This is a really good movie. I was at Blockbuster when I saw this and it had Koreans and Hip Hop stars on it and I was like "Are they dubbing a korean movie into something horrible". So I got it and I was happy they had a Korean version because I can not stand english dubs of anime made for little kids and I was afraid to see what they had done to it in english so I watched the Korean version and it was amazing. This video is very well explained. It explains the characters, the plot, and the seeting well. It had a lot of comedy with action and I love anything with both of them in there. It was really my type of movie and I absolutely love it.
BEST -second session- (CD+2DVD)(Limited Edition)(Hong Kong Version)July 24, 2006 Another Review
I know you guys are probably tired of me leaving reviews but this is the last one. This one is about the second DVD ehich came with second session. The DVD is a concert of Kumi's first things tour. It starts off with a opening at Osaka with two bunnies. A blue bunny and a pink bunny. The bunnies are giving little Kumi stuff. Then the start the concert. The first three perfomances Butterfly, Cutie Honey, and Chase are very cute and Kumi lookes like she's having a lot of fun. The next perfomance Gentle Words calms down everyone. Then Kumi's attitude changes from dirty to emotional in the pefomances and she sings Heat,Hot Stuff, Crazy 4 U, hands, NO TRICKS, Rain, m.a.z.e, Selfish, Promise, Star, Trust your Love, and Come with Me. Then she finishes of the concert with the perfomances of real Emotion, the meaning of peace, flower, and walk.
A few things I would like to add is that this album is a total success Kumi all I have to tell you is to go buy the album and support her because I am very confident that she will be somewhere in the Top 5 or 10 best albums in 2006. And if you do not have the limited edition for second session get it before they all sell out.
BEST -second session- (CD+2DVD)(Limited Edition)(Hong Kong Version)July 24, 2006 Another review
I know I just put a review up, but I would like to say a few things about the first DVD that came with second session.
The first DVD has all 12 of Kumi's single collection music video's. THe first video is you which is the first part of four video telling a story in the single collection. you is a very sad video the first time I saw it I cried. Its starts off with three guys talking to each other than it goes to the music which one of the three guys is having a relationship with Kumi and it starts falling apart so Kumi leaves him at the end of the video and he goes to look for her. Then it goes back to the three guys talking again. Te next video Candy starts of with a introduction of Kumi being a princess a Mr.Blistah comes to save her. The video has Kumi in a seat with a dragon around her and dancers that are on the floor get up and start dancing. Then the scene changes to Kumi and backup dancers dressed in red dancing for the first verse of the song. Then Mr.Blistah does his rap and the scene changes to Kumi and the dancers dancing in Blue with swords. At the end of the video it has a ending where Kumi disappears and the dragon turns into Kumi's dog and walks down the hall. And at the end of the video it says Kumi went to Earth to find happiness and love. The next video Imasugu Hoshi is not my kind a video but it goes to what the song is saying so I won't bother explaning it. The next video Birthday Eve is really cute. It has Kumi making a cake for a guy she likes and a guy working out to impress Kumi but Kumi doesn't like him. The video is mostly in pink and at the end Kumi gets with the guy she likes and the guy working out gets his hearts broken.
The fifth video feel is the second part of the story which has the three guys talking again. The video mostly has Kumi and that other guy she was with thinking about there relationship since they broke up. The scene then goes back to the three guys talking. The next video is D.D.D. which is kinda disturbing. So disterbing I'm not going to tell you about it.
The next video is KAMEN which is boring, but very well put together it has Kumi wearing a white mask and Tetsuya Ishii wearing a black mask and they both are singing to each other while holding the mask on there faces. The next video is WIND which is like Birthday Eve because it is very cute and on some parts its sad. The video has Kumi and her dog inventing stuff, but everything they invent brakes or turns out horrible. The video has a lot of animation in it. And at the end Kumi and her dog finally succed by making a giant flower that eats Kumi at the end of the video.
The next video is Lies which is the third part of the series. In the video Kumi Is dating another guy from the three guys talking in the video. Which like the other relationship things aren't working out. So at the end of the video she walks out on the new guy and then there is another scene with the three guys talking and that is the last time we see all three of them talking together. The next video is No Regret which I think is very good. In the video Kumi is in a room filled with light then the scene changes to Kumi walking into a club and dancing with two backup dancers and they keep on showing these scenes till close till the end when Kumi is fighting a bunch of guys in a dress. The next video which is Shake It Up is my most disliked video on the DVD. The video has Kumi dancing with a dress on and two other Kumi's dancing with work outfits on. The last video is Someday which is the fourth part of the series in this video both guys are trying to get back with Kumi which is working out well and in the end it a happy ending. The only thing about it is that it doesn't say whicch guy she got with because it shows evidence that she's with both guys (I hope it was the first one).
BEST -second session- (CD+2DVD)(Limited Edition)(Hong Kong Version)July 24, 2006 Second Session is AMAZING
Second Session is awsome. This album has showed Koda Kumi fans eveything. From how she feels when she's sad, angry, emotional, happy, and everything else that you can not put into words.
O.K. Let's get on about the album the first song which is Introduction to the second session is a great way to start the album. The second song D.D.D. featuring SOULHEAD is a amazing a fun song. The song really reminds me of the American song Lady Marmalade sung by Pink, Mya, Lil' Kim, Christina Aguilera, and Missy Elliot. The third song you is a amazing song that has so much emotion when you listen to it. The fourth song Candy featuring Mr.Blistah is really cool and I can tell this is one of Kumi's favorite songs she recorded on the album. Next song on #5 is Shake It Up which was really catchy. #6 is feel which is a really good song (Besides the fact Kumi sings the whole chorus in Englsih really fast and its kinda hard to understand her). #7 is WIND which is a really fun song to sing along to. #8 is Love Goes Like... which was the one of the songs that is not a single is amazing. I had no idea what it was going to be like and I fell in love with it the first time I heard it. I really think its better than some of the singles on the album. The ninth song on the list is No Regret which is Amazing. The beat to it is really catchy. #10 is Birthday Eve which is a really cute song. The whole song makes me think Kumi is a little kid. #11 is Lies which sounded kinda strande to me because of the beat, but besides that I love it. #12 is Imasugu Hoshi is really good even though its not my type of song. The thirteenth song KAMEN featuring Tetsuya Ishii is one of my favorites because it really sounds like a soul song. #14 is Someday is good and its a good song to end with for her single collection. The last song on the album which is a new song called A Whole New World is a new version of the theme song to the Disney movie Alladin is good and its also features Peabo Bryson.
The last thing I've got to say is that this album is Amazing and you should get it as soon as you have the chance cause it will blow you away.
EXODUS (Japan Version)2 people found this review helpful
July 22, 2006 Utada's English album
Exodus was the first album I had ever got of Utada. I got it early in 2005 and since then I have been listening to her Japanese works and I like them better, but Exodus is still ok. I first heard about Utada Hikaru when I was in school and we were looking at a new's paper and I happened to see a picture of her and went on the internet and saw she was a Japanese singer. About 4-6 months later I started looking for the album and found it after going to over 5 music stores. When I got it the first song I listened to was Devil Inside and I didn't like it because I really wanted to hear Japanese music and the album was in English and it sounded strange so I put it up and didn't touch it again till a week later I went on the internet and found out some more information about her and I found out she was born in New York and could speak english (which I thought the album was sung by some American singer that redone Utada's song's in english). Then I looked up things about Japanese music and saw Japanese music has different sounds to it. After I got off the internet I went to my room and listened to the whole album and since the I have been a hardcore Hikki fan ever since. But still I wonder what inspired Hikki to make her englsih album so different from her Japanese albums. Besides that I love this album, especially the song Easy Breezy and You Make Me Want To Be A Man. Almost every day at school I sing the sentence 'You're Easy Breezy and I'm Japanessy' and everybody loves it.
BoA - Love & HonestyJuly 22, 2006 BoA Love & Honesty
This album is awsome. The songs are just amazing. Rock With you is a Amazing song and I give BoA a thums up for making it the first song on the album. I like the idea BoA did a rock song and I think it really goes well with her voice. Shine We Are for some reason is my least favorite single from her and for some reason I like the music video better than the song. Someday One Day is a beautiful song. I really like it because it is really R&B and a little bit of hip hop in it with Verbal in it. And I really like when BoA does songs like that. Love & Honesty is a beautiful song and out of all the songs on the album I think Love & Honesty should deserves to have the name of the album. Midnight Parade is awsome. But the one thing I don't like about it is that you have to wait 20 seconds till the beat of the song comes on because I love this song so much I just want it to hurry up and play. Be The One was pretty cool and it reminds me of her song Listen To My Heart which is not on the album. Expect is awsome. Its my favorite non-single song on the album and it has a amazing beat and amasing lyrics to it. OVER~across the time~ is a song I fell in love with the first time I heard it. Kokoro no tegami is a good song but I just feel like somethings not right with it. DOUBLE which was the best song on the album was amazing. I wish someone would make a song like DOUBLE in America. Easy To Be Hard sound very much like a cute little kid song. Song with no name was good but I wish its lyrics were longer. The last song Milky Way was good but for some reason I really didn't like it.
ID ; Peace B (Japan Version)July 22, 2006 Li Kira Miyu
This single is amazing. It was one of the first songs I've ever heard BoA sing. ID;Peace B is a song that has a lot of meanings to me. The beginning of the song is so unique to me by the piano playing a light sound then it goes strait to a different beat of music.I like both the Korean and Japanese versions. But I like the Japanese version the best because it seems like BoA has a stronger voice in it. And I love the lyrics because it is talking about BoA being to young to do what she wants to do and she was 13 and 14 when she sung all the versions of the songs and its the right way to start a singing career in any country. I liked Dreams come true and the english version of Peace B but I had some trouble hearing what words she was saying in english, but it was still fine.
Utada Hikaru Single Collection Vol.1 (Overseas Version)(11)Our Price: US$17.99July 3, 2006 Hikki's Single Collection
This was the first time I heard any of Hikki's Japanese single's and ever since I have become a hardcore fan. I will say that if you have all of her regular Japanese albums that you might not want to get this, but still if you are a hardcore fan of Hikki and you love her music get this. I can also understand if some of these songs might seem outdated to people. Mostly because for some of these songs were made in the 90's and some people just like music that they listened to right when it came out. Besides that I extremelly like the songs that were made in the 90's better than her songs makes now because I liked her better when she was doing R&B music because its R&B music that I have never heard before in America. Beside's that you might not like the beat of the songs, but try listening to the lyrics because I think Hikki is a beautiful song writer and I've never heard lyrics sound like this.
The songs Time Will Tell sounds kinda old and I didn't like it at first but I love it now. Automatic has a beautiful beat and has very good lyrics. Movin On Without You seemed like a rock song to me, but besides the beat I love the lyrics. And First Love is a beautiful song about love.
Addicted to you was very R&B and even though it is one of her best songs I really would want Wait and See~Risk~ to be onre of her most famous because it was really good. For You and Time Limit are very good and sound alike. Can You Keep A Secret is a beautiful song and it was song of the year in 2001 so you would have to say it is kinda good.
I wish the album had Deep River but it didn't and i think Final Distance replaces it by not being there because to me they sound very much alike. Traveling was very good. And I really like Hikari and Sakura Dropusu because it had so many beautiful sounds in it.
Letters was the song I disliked on this album the most for some reason. And the new song on the album Colors is very good. I personally think anyone who likes hearing something either new or old that has never heard Hikki's music would like this alot. And the last thing I would like to say is that this album is when you think about it being album of the year in 2004.
