The Best of Hideaki Anno's Films Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
If you were to ask me, which of the Hideaki Anno's films cuts to the heart of his oevure, it would be this one. It has everything, cute girls, short skirts, sex, brutality, innocence, beauty, love, hatred, wrath, and spitefulness, and a slew of other things that make up being a teenager, including semen. Force feed yourself this film, and you will derive, a lot of satisfaction, from it. The director is sadistic. The girls are really fun, one of them doesn't even wear a bra, for a good part of the film, and, another is well-endowed, posteriorly-speaking, while the girl, with the monkey on her back has the cutest voice, and, the men, here, are, positively, sinister, untrustworthy heathens. There is a slew of bonus content, as well, which is essential, for fans of the film. You get to see more girls, half-naked girls in bikinis, on the beach, and the drama of producing the film, itself.

Blood, sweat, laughter, and tears, make up the heart of this film, and, one could argue that that makes up the heart of Hideaki Anno's work, in a microcosm. It is his best film, because he will make you cry. You will wonder, why you never loved, again, after watching, this film, because you only, ever, really, loved Hiromi, and, if you, ever, gave your heart to someone, and, had it broken to pieces, then, you will identify, with this film. As Nasir Jones, would say, "Always forwards, I'm moving, never backwards," these girls will conquer the world, with their fluffy socks, and, are coming for you. They have, already, captured my heart, and, hopefully yours, too! Enjoy! I love you, all.
