Wong Ching Po (Jiang Hu) directs the female-centered Hong Kong triad movie Mob Sister (a.k.a. Ah Sou). Karena Lam and new actress Annie Liu portray two Mob Sisters who join the triads against their will. Annie Liu is the naive girl brought up by gangsters, while Karena Lam takes on the challenge of playing a ruthless mob boss. They are flanked by a star-studded cast that includes Best Actor winners such as Eric Tsang, Simon Yam, Anthony Wong, Alex Fong, Liu Ye, and Tse Kwan Ho, as well as character actors Yuen Wah (Kung Fu Hustle) and Liu Kai Chi.

Wong Ching Po, a past Best New Director winner at the Hong Kong Film Awards, subverts gangster movie traditions not only by telling the story from a female point of view, but also making it visually arresting. 從前，有兩隻小白兔跌入狼群

　　十八年前，全港最大社團領導人百德（曾志偉）的手下阿九（廖啟智）殺死合伙兄弟，年青遺孀洛華（林嘉欣）誓要阿九滅門以洩心頭恨。垂死的阿九向百德托孤。百德向洛華豪氣一言：十八年後娶小女孩為妻，問誰膽敢殺「阿嫂」！

　　今天，菲比（劉心悠）是一個婷婷玉立、心地善良的樂天少女，與養父百德感情深厚。營役多年的百德已有退休之意，欲與菲比移民外國安享下半世。怎料風聲洩露，惹來殺身之禍，於眾目睽睽之下遭殺手冷鎗暗殺身亡！

　　百德一死，字頭群龍無首，驍勇善戰的大風（黃秋生）乘勢而起，豈料足智多謀的辰哥（任達華 飾）卻說百德臨終前曾有囑咐，要把所有事務都交給菲比處理，由她統領社團，成為名正言順的「阿嫂」！令一向充當和事老的花哥（方中信）感錯愕，一眾社團人士更蠢蠢欲動……

　　菲比不忍看見身邊的腥風血雨，竟隻身與洛華講和。洛華想起自己當年與菲比身世相若，一個孤女擔起整個社團，竟被其稚子之心所感動，遂道出真相──百德並非她下令所殺，真正的叛徒近在咫尺……

　　Ah Sou tells the extraordinary story of an innocent girl who becomes appointed successor to Hong Kong's ruling triad. This role becomes a double-edged sword for our young heroine, who is sucked into a maelstrom of vicious gang wars, hair-raising assassination attempts and ruthless power struggles and betrayals. Through numerous violent episodes and unexpected reversals, she discovers her own inner strength and re-writes the laws of the triad kingdom.
